- Joy Benedict reports from South LA where Taco Arandas, a food truck that's been serving the community for two decades on Florence Avenue, was robbed Saturday night at gunpoint. The incident was captured on security cameras.
Gets shot in the foot, looks down at it, doesn't even flinch and slightly limps away. What a G.

Had a buddy shoot with a small caliber weapon shoot in the stomach and leg he told me at first he really didn't know he got shoot . Until he seen the blood on his clothes. Had problems from it all his life especially the stomach wound.

He not only robbed and terrified them but he shot bullets in them over what was probably relatively little money in the grand scheme of things, and it’s incomprehensible to have maimed a kind hard working elder in the community, someone who has fed you for years! Defund the police doesn’t mean disband the police. It means don’t send the police when there’s a mental health crisis, send a trained therapist instead or when there’s a case of child neglect, send a social worker. People with guns are not always needed for those situations. It means reallocate funds so the appropriate resource is sent for non-emergency situations. The police are trained to manage situations more aggressively then some situations require. So, remember the stories of the families who called for help when their sons were having mental melt downs, called the police for help, and the police showed up and shot and killed them.

A double potent O.C. spray is better in my many experiences. Canster versions especially are very effective.

I work in a trauma unit in the hospital and tbh economically it makes more sense to give up the money and not fight back.
