    These informal, informative panel discussions bring together Breast Cancer Haven staff and therapists with leading experts from specialist fields. We provide information and insight into the financial, physical, emotional and psychological factors that may affect your life.
    Our inaugural webinar “Getting Curious: Breast Cancer and Sexual Intimacy” covers an important topic that is often considered taboo, and can be overlooked.
    This webinar delivers an honest and friendly discussion covering a range of issues including:
    a practical understanding of what is happening to your body as a side effect of treatment
    how surgery can impact your feelings of self-confidence and sexual appeal
    how you could work with a current or future partner to achieve the kind of sexual intimacy you want
    The panel includes:
    Nicola Cunningham was Manager, Breast Cancer Haven, London. She is a physiotherapist with years of experience working in cancer services across London.
    Dr Isabel White is a Psychosexual Therapist who was worked for over 15 years with individuals or couples experiencing sexual difficulties who have chosen to work with a psychosexual therapist to support them to understand, adjust to and / or resolve such difficulties. Her clinical background in cancer care means she has specific research and clinical interest in working with people whose sexual lives and relationships have been adversely affected by illness and medical treatment(s).
    Lavinia Winch was previously responsible for Medical Liaison at The YES YES Company and is now The Ambassador for YES Organic Lubricants and Vaginal Moisturisers. She currently runs online intimate health workshops for Breast Cancer Haven visitors. Lavinia is passionate about raising awareness of sexual function challenges following cancer treatment, and believes that more support is needed from health professionals for women experiencing the long-term side effects relating to sex and intimacy, particularly for those on hormonal therapies.
    Kate Moyle - Kate is an Accredited Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist. She specialises in working with those that are struggling with difficulties with their sex lives and sexuality, including many in their twenties and thirties who are impacted by the stresses of modern life. She considers a client’s problem or sexual dysfunction in terms of their personal context and meaning and the role it holds for them as an individual. Kate hosts The Sexual Wellness Sessions Podcast , where she takes the conversations from inside the therapy room, into the mainstream. Alongside her work as a therapist Kate is also UK Sex Expert for Luxury Sex Toy Brand Lelo and is a regular event speaker and contributor to the media on the topic of sex and relationships.
