Daniel, many thanks for this vid, it's a good foundation. Glad also for your brush suggestions.
I'm happy that we agree on the "painterly" look. The painterly image beckons the viewer to fill in parts of the pic, to engage with the image. Or at least I think that and want to present in that fashion. I understand that what you posted here was hurriedly done for demo purposes but the idea is the same and I still love those lemons and pitcher.
May I suggest something to you? There are many tutorials on the net for painting in PS but not so many for the very beginner, while at the same time there are many that would like to learn to paint digitally but have become discouraged.
Hm, sounds like a good niche for you to fill because you have a nice communication style and your instructions are clear. And of course I mean that you would sell them for some reasonable amount, nice thing being once you make the CD it's there making money from there on.
I have some ideas along this line and would be delighted to share if you would be interested.
One last thing, I would like to know how to make a paint pallet as I see some artist on the net using. They mix original colors on it as they paint but I'll be double dog damned if I can figure out how they do it. They dab the colors on the pallet and then continue with their image. No hurry but when you get the chance would love to see how it's done.
