  • This was filmed in a hotel, which was originally built as a stately home in the late 1600's, then used as a hospital in the 1930's, and finally converted into the present day hotel in the late 1980's. I'm fairly certain this was a fresh install by H&C and not modded from an earlier lift.
These are getting very hard to find. You can definitely see the Dover connection with the directional lanters, however these no longer work unfortunately. It has received a slap-on Orona mod sadly, however its character still shines through.
I'm unsure whether this is in-ground or holeless hydraulic, though I imagine holeless is more likely. It has a great sounding motor which definitely sounds Dover-esque. It's a bit weird that shortly after start-up (around the 40second mark) it almost feels like it 'changes gear' with a bounce, not sure what causes this as obviously hydraulic pumps don't have gears! It happens after start-up on every floor too and only while going up, so it can't be a sticky guide wheel.
