    1-a) If I'd like to employ one of these services, and be able to send them a package in hopes they could stamp it with my virtual address and mail it on my behalf, which of these (or another) would be best?
    *It's not something I'd need to do often, however think work pc.
    My current employer requires us to use their hardware. Occasionally, they need to physically have it.
    1-b) If I were mailing it via say DHL from Latin America to a V.M service, which one could be counted on to not only help expedite it, but to also show the address which I'm listing with my employer?

      I really like Traveling Mailbox and PostScan Mail, both of which have addresses in Texas.
      As a quick disclaimer, simply using a virtual address does not move your residence in the government's eyes. So unless you apply for and obtain a driver's license in Texas, I don't think you're going to get out of Arizona state tax.

    Good explanation of how virtual addresses work, but you missed the best overall service, which is PhysicalAddress. It is the largest US-based service that does not use third-party mail centers or PO boxes as their addresses. They actually manage and operate every one of their physical addresses. This is more costly and complicated for them, but it gives customers the confidence that they won't lose their virtual address when a third-party business that is providing the address goes out of business, loses their lease, changes their virtual provider, etc. Ask any of the companies you recommended if they have lost addresses in the past; you'll find it happens often. Imagine if you are a customer and have hundreds of clients with your address, and suddenly it's gone. They also provide all of the bells and whistles you mentioned, local pick-up, direct deposit, and they don't up-charge their forwarding rates - you pay the same as if you were to go directly to the shipper.
    It probably would be important to inform your viewers that if you sign up with one of the companies you mentioned, they are likely signing up with two companies that are providing the address, and they should review both the virtual company and the physical mailing address company.

    • @AllThingsSecured
      @AllThingsSecured  2 года назад +5

      Depends on what kind of mail you’re referring to. You don’t have to have them open and scan it. If you know what it is, just have it forwarded directly to you without being opened.

    • @jalabi99
      @jalabi99 2 года назад +1

      @Satnav The USPS is *very* strict when it comes to the privacy of the US Mail. Any Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) has to prove to them that they are in compliance with all security protocols on a regular basis. The USPS Form 1583 gives the CMRA the right to (basically) act as if they were the USPS with respect to your mail and enables you to grant them permission to open and scan your mail, which is then shredded and disposed of securely also. The opening, scanning, and shredding of mail is done on your request, and is entirely optional. Most people using a CMRA will only have them forward whatever mail you receive to you. I have used Traveling Mailbox and EarthClassMail for years now and their service has been impeccable.

    One reason I want to get a virtual mailbox is for “trash” accounts… Services that require an address on file but I know I never want to receive mail from them and don’t want to give them that information. Ideally, I would want to use an alias for these as well… But I obviously can’t notarize with an alias. Do you have advice for this?
    I see most of these services allow multiple names to receive mail, but again, I run into the notarizing issue. I of course want to do this legally, but I am tired of so many services requiring such personal information for absolutely no reason, other than data collection.

      You can have the virtual address forward your packages. It works, but that a bit costly and not efficient.

    hello!so a month ago I used a VPN called "Hola VPN"(free) I have been using it till yesterday, I found out that it's dangerous. after I heard that I took it off from the chrome and uninstalled it. I still don't know if they have my IP address. do you think that I am safe by taking it off from chrome and uninstalling it?

    So strangers are opening all your mail and scanning it. This seems like a bad idea. And isn’t it a federal offense to open other people’s mail.

    • @AllThingsSecured
      @AllThingsSecured  3 года назад +4

      A private company with a reputation to uphold is opening your mail, and only after you sign USPS Form 1583 that gives them that right. So no, it’s not a federal offense.

      @@AllThingsSecured thanks for info on the form 1583. Still wouldn’t trust strangers with my mail personally. I get my mail at P.O. Box and not my house anyways and well if someone wants to come to my home and mess with me I’d suggest they seriously think twice about it. A country boy can survive :)
