Flagship GPU's are low volume products. The vast majority of GPU sales are in the $300 and under class. It also does not help that even when AMD did have the better top end product that Nvidia outsold them dramatically. So AMD may decide its simply not worth the R&D and production costs to go big.

I have both Rtx 4070 super and rx 7900gre and both gpus work quite well in 1440p on max settings but amd háve more VRAM meter stability in game and mutch better 1%lows and its cheaper the nvidia háve better RT performance and superior upscaler but many people will say that amd háve problems with drivers from my experience it is quitw opposite cuz my Rtx 2070super and Rtx 3070 OC was great and there was small issues with drivers but nothing big but with Rtx 4070 super i have quite issues in Last year cuz yes drivers Come out in tíme but many Times they fix a lot of issues and brake something in proces completly perhaps my obs settings or my oled monitor even IF i turn IF off its just not fully power off soo yeah drivers wasnt good at least this year with nvidia but in the other hand i gót amd from apríl of the year samé as the nvidia one but i must say this 7000series gpu is great and drivers are perfect and Last 4 updates i really feels gain in stability in oplication a lot. But over all both gpus are great and you choose what you gonna do with them, IF y play just AAA games only and work as profesionál with graphical programs use nvidia but IF you are using PC just for gaming and want Best performance possible use AMD also there was limitations with nvidia 12gb of VRAM and after Like 4 to 6 hours of game play in 1440p max settings i was able to almost full my memory VRAM alucation up to 10.8 to 11.3gb and that is nôt good at all considere games should nôt nned use that mutch VRAM but we are nôt in perfect world and games are unoptimized as hell those days so bé ready for tíme and its been soon when your 12gb of VRAM is bé limiting factory and you gonna need to put some settings down a bit but keep i mind that this is 1440p gpu as nvidia pressent it so it should dead with any game at 1440p without issues but well it wont. IF you pick nvidia or amd both gpus are good but you have to decidet for what you need them but belive me 8gb of VRAM per gpu is obsolete and 12gb of VRAM becoming new standart so i wont be suprised IF more demanding game Come out and there you bé limited with VRAM and can play only 1080p ultra but slowly world going there and if you wanna get more out of it well you gonna need to pay mutch more for nvidia, so at this point i woukd choose AMD cuz its cheaper and over all well balanced and realisticly you nôt gonna lose anything bessides the great dlss, and when it Come to RT just dont vith gpus are RT capable but it wont work that way very well but offcourse on nvidia you gonna have better fps in RT but thats about it. I personally use 5 generation of nvidia gpus gt720, 1050ti, Rtx 2070super, Rtx 3070 OC and Rtx 4070super and Last one i replaced with rx 7900gre which i use daily since april and i Like it more than nvidia so far.

The only things Nvidia does better it's raytracing, which it's an overrated feature that very few use and DLSS it's indeed the best upscalling.
How much it's DLSS worth it depends on price, cuz if you have 400$ and have to choose between an rtx 4060 ti 8gb and rx 7800 xt 16gb. Even with dlss on the 4060ti you probably won t match the raster perf of 7800 xt and game will look worse, play worse because the lack of vram and raytracing it's unusable anyway. So it depends.

Over all AMD gpu is clear winner for Basic use i would always use amd but for profesionál work i would pick nvidia. Also i laugh on People WHO say they dont pick amd cuz they háve issues with drivers ahhhhhhhhh HH bullshit i have rx 7900gre since apríl of the year and i dont háve a single issue with drivers so far on the other hand nvidia drivers on my Rtx 4070 super wasnt that good this year but they get about more than Amd sometimes we dont even háve driver out in months for amd but after all of driver Works why change it right.
