You've clearly never left a marine with a rocket launcher unsupervised
4:29 and 4:30 there’s two more team kills on the covenant end, the 2nd you only hear, first gets ran over in view as the camera moves. Also at 4:34 the Brute Chieftain almost gets team killed.
Remember when you get off the Scorpion during Metropolis in Halo 2? One of those rocket marines blew up the entire squad with one rocket.

This is why I'd always group up with marine platoons in the games. Or hold out certain areas even though I have to move forward.

Would be nice if you added some friendly Spartan NPC's into these once in a while. Like even just a small fireteam would make things interesting.

Also, say what you want about H3 ai, but they are the best at putting out a high rate of fire from the AR...the only way to really use it.
In Halo 1 they're extremely effective with the AR, to the point where 10 marines can easily eviscerate 30 mixed covenant including hunters unless you're playing on Legendary. They use it the other effective way, tap and burst fire.
I like how once he gets on it he puts some hiphop instrumentals on in his little earpiece and vibes out

OK this shit needs to be added to MCC. I want it in Matchmaking, NPC battles where you join UNSC or Covenant based on your preferred species option, and elites are now enemies to humans again. 16 players, 8 spartans versus 8 elites plus all the NPCs for each respective fashion. Unlimited spawns no and score cap, just a long ass 30 minutes of slaughter.

The lives of UNSC Marines may not be as horrifying as those in such stories as Warhammer 40K, or Starship Troopers, with odds that barely exist, but their resolute bravery is just as impressive. The key difference is that they do not live in a fascist, oppressive, horrifying society in the ordinary. They do not live with the horrors of death and misery in their heads just by doing daily tasks. The people of humanity in Halo are not conditioned from birth by circumstance to be psychologically numb to this kind of mental torment. So the fact that marines in Halo never flee is freaking remarkable. Bravery cannot be quantified - a person going into battle is just as brave as a person going into a job interview; it's all dependant on the level of fear you feel - but I personally think the UNSC Marines are the coolest marines depicted in a long time. They fight because they must, not because they're made to.
Next should be covenant vs flood and unsc vs flood, it’s obvious that both unsc and covenant will lose since the flood can simply reanimate the dead corpses but it will be cool to see how dangerous the flood is

When they had to fight well equipped UNSC forces on the ground they got slaughtered by superior tactics and coordination despite their technological advantage, with only a few Covenant commanders being able to effectively counter UNSC forces and play to their own strengths.
@@JohnDoe-jh9cf it’s been ages since I’ve read the books, but didn’t the UNCS put up a pretty solid fight on Reach until the glassing began? That seems to be a common thread, the Covies get destroyed on the ground, then they glass the planet. Kinda like Harvest and New Mombasa, right?
@@chuck11duck64 The UNSC all but won on the ground until attrition started to set in and the covenant started resorting to acts of terrorism to lower their morale. They had no way to get reinforcements, were facing an enemy that dwarfed them in size and lacked orbital superiority at any point. Plus, this was the military capital of humanity, meaning that most of the guys there were not extensively trained on fighting the covenant as they were still considered need to know. Most of the soldiers operating were fresh out of, "How to spot an innie, how to shoot said innie, how to tell your CO you shot an innie."

Haha that's funny. The Macs from the UNSC ships didn't even tickle the shield, instead the plasma took out the ships in the blink of an eye. And by the way there were never sea battles
