Hello from Germany and many thanks for your reaction. I'm an old guy and didn't know much about Rammstein until I saw some American RUclipsrs react to Du hast. I liked the song and listened to more and couldn't believe how good most of them were. Today I have more than 40 favorite Rammstein songs. What I love the most about their songs: 1) its just wunderful music, 2) every single song is unique, 3) Videos and live Shows are great and full of ideas and power and beauty. The texts and topics are often difficult, dark, disturbing, weird, sometines for some even disgusting but it has a reason. Lindemann who writes many of the lyrics is a true artist and went through a difficult childhood. His father already wrote poetry, bis mother rejected him and treated him badly, he was a great athlete and when he tired to find a place in this world his homeland GDR (Eastern Germany) collapsed economically and many West Germans were arrogant towards the so calles Ossis. I would like to recommend 'Das Klavier to you. Berlin live version. Its a very beautiful underrated song.
I went to see Rammstein live in June 2022. I'd never heard Puppe before seeing it live. The Flys (black confetti) bursting from the pram and stage really painted a picture. If you ever get the chance, see them. Best show I've ever been to.
According to the lyrics, it's about a boy who only lives with his sister, and every time his sister works, she locks him in the room. When working, you think she's selling her body, you can tell at that moment in the lyrics: ''They come and they go, and sometimes in pairs''. During the song, the little boy hears her sister scream, comes over and looks in through the keyhole, where he then saw a customer of hers hit her to death. He then ripped off the head of the doll his sister had given him out of frustration. Some think that the boy was imagining the man who killed her with the doll, but it's not entirely clear so it's unconfirmed. hope this helps

Can you imagine waking up after sleeping and the medicine's worn off, realizing your sister's dead (again) in the adjacent room, and you're locked inside the room?
Musically one of their simplest songs. Lyrically....You might want to sit down and have a glass of water. Six men with burning hearts. R+ is about much more than loud crunchy guitars. Also there are loud guitars. So dive in!
