    Talo I remember meeting you in Magic wood Switzerland back in 2018 or so, and being there with a bunch of really strong boulders who were all working 7c+ or higher. And I remember them getting on this 7b slab and each one getting totally shut down, only to watch you later float up the thing. Your slab climbing is truly an art

    I’m fluent in both Spanish and English and the seamless transition from one language to the other was really weird😂. I just kept reading the subtitles for a hot minute until I realized it was a different language. Loved the video!!

    Estuve en la pedriza el año pasado, en pleno calor de Junio y me encantó tener una ligera idea de lo que es slab... Probé un V+ y fue un infierno 😂 La próxima vez, a ver si voy con más frío y me slabducateo como debe ser. Buen curro y super chulo el vídeo ❤‍🔥

    La escalada en la Pedriza (Madrid) me recuerda mucho a la escalada de las placas de Faro de Budiño (Pontevedra) en cuanto a técnica, las placas en la Pedriza son más lisas, depende de la placa necesitas unos gatos u otros,,, más duros o más adherentes, en Budiño hay pitones,,, ambos sitios son mágicos.

    Awesome video! Slab climbing is definitely becoming the forgotten lost art! My climbing gym has about a 100:1 dyno to slab ratio and I feel so many routes lack technique nowaday. Stoked to see more folks channeling their inner bear!

      Exactly. You just have to see the climbing shoes market.. All are made for gyms and not for technical climbing anymore

      @Talo Martin funny you mention that, im looking for a new pair of shoes now and having a hard time finding shoes that let me climb the techy 5.11-12 stuff "comfortably". Got any recommendations?

      It's annoying, my gym doesn't set any slab harder than 7a+ (and its a soft 7a+ at that) but its such rewarding discipline!

      THANKS for that🤘 Yeah, Piratas doesn't appear in that guidebook as it's just a selection that it's been repeatedly re-edited without newer routes. Piratas is just 100 right of La Peseta, and below Peña Sirio spur. Shaded until mid day
