Arms are reaching around the world giving you a giant hug! The forces of nature are never to be underestimated yet still admired for its ferocity and power. Glad you’ve managed to get rolls Royce service during the repair job.
Such beautifully expressed ideas and none could be more true as I am a Brit living across the pond in France, so Anglo-French hugs I guess :-). Very sorry to hear your bad news but as you said you have good relationships with people around you who are ready to come to your aid, and very shortly all your thoughts will be on the newly born. Hope all goes well.
HUGS to you ! You were so upset it made my heart hurt for you. The lamies will be here soon and then you can take joy in seeing those cute little baby's. Try not to wear yourself out with worry as the sheep will feel your stress and react. You are such a good mom to them.
I am so, so sorry. Poor, dear sheep. poor, dear you, too. It will be all better and back, as it was, before you know. I'm praying for a quick turn around time in repairs and that you have precious baby lambs and happy ewes.
What I want to see are some other local sheep folk giving you moral and human support by allowing you to let go of some of your stress. The best regimen is doing what you are like cleaning up but there is nothing like some fellow sheep folk giving you some love and hugs. You will get through this.
Very happy you didn’t get more damage then that or loose any animals:) I think it’s awesome that your builder was able to get right on making preparations to fix your barn as well, you don’t often get service like that anymore
Catching up on old videos. It’s terrible damage. The great thing is I see how great you’re doing now. You are one tough lady with a tender and loving heart.
I'm so sorry that happened to your barn. I love watching you care for your lambs. You can definitely tell you truly love and care for them. Looking forward to watching the lambing videos.
My heart skipped a few beats on the sight of your barn in the video! I am used to strong wind gusts but only up to 150 km/h. And that does a lot of damage too. But with that a large stock just can not go anywhere else with them. I perfectly understand your fear for aborting or not accepting the lambs. Stress is a thing sheep can not stand. I, and for sure many other people, are with you in their thoughts and are crossing their fingers that all goes well for you and your sheep, especially for the lambing! I am sure you are over the first shock and are looking forward for fixing the barn in the next few days. You do a great job and I am very glad that you share it with us. Just keep the head up, as I am sure you do.
Glad your builder helping. Yes relationship with business is very important. They probably sold many buildings from you showing yours. That goes long way with them helping you. You will tell others and he will sell more. Standing behind your work is everything
Service means everything. It great when you get service like you did. It was nice to see a smile on your face again. Hope the repair & lambing go great.
Sandi this video is a perfect example of the great woman/ farmer that you are. You care for your children (sheep) and when something goes wrong you are concerned. What I notice though , is when you started to pick up the gates the sheep came to the end of the pen where you were. And yes business relationships are priceless. I know , I have customers who I drop everything for when they call. I know any unexpected event is stressful and you will be able to get through this. I hope the girls fair well and all the babies survive. Wishing you all the best.
Sandi ! So sorry to hear of your damage you will get threw this .You are a strong lady and with the help of GOD you will get threw this .GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY !
Sandi and Mark so sorry this happened. Just hold your head up and things will get better. Know going through this is hard. You have great set up for your lambs. Just take a deep breath and move on. Be praying you have favor with builder
Sandi , hugs from the USA I’m so sorry this happened to you . I’m so very happy that no one was injured ! This will get taken care of sounds like your Contractor is working on it . Hang in there !
I was in shock when I got this notification, I was so concerned about your livestock. That is a massive hole!! I would have been saying multiple choice words (not good ones, mind you). Cause that made my heart drop to see in the thumbnail. You are so strong and amazing. When i was watching more, I was so happy to hear that your barn roof will be done so quickly. I am also with you and praying your sheep will not lamb till after the fix. They are so close. You have such a beautiful heart and put your animals first. Love your channel and more blessings for you and your family. 🙏🏽❤️
I held a sandi Brock marathon today. Must say that you are a strong woman. Lots of respect for both of you. Learned a lot about sheep, likes to watch. Wish you good luck with the barn. and keep following you on youtube also mark i follow. Greetings Paul from Holland
FYI. What really works great for sweeping a cement floor is a large square old bale. Use your telehandler/ Skidsteer bale fork and an old dry big square bale. Practice with the angle, and it will be a life saver.
Straight line winds be thankful you didn't have a conventional barn think shingles and especially nails scattered about. Unfortunately in our area a lot of old fencerows and windbreaks are being taken out you have kept yours. Keep that radio on full volume we used that in pig barns to keep them from getting spooked or alcohol some in the feed and lots in the farmer Take care
You are amazing! You work so hard and then that roof tear happens. I’m glad that is coming together for you. That gust you talked about sounds like the tornados we get during bad storms, here in the States. They aren’t real bad, just knock down trees and shingles off houses, etc. I’m excited for the lambing. Take care of yourself.
The positive... congrats on hitting almost 71K subbers. Plus, when they come to fix the "leak" in the roof, you will have more video content to post. Things will work out. You have all of our support. :)
OMG Sandi, thankfully no animals or humans were hurt. We have a fellow sheep herder that lost their barn too collapse from weight of snow on the roof. He also lost half of his flock because of it. :( . He wasn't able to get back on his feet and sold the whole operation. Mother Nature is cruel lady some days. Sending cyber hugs from us to you.
Simply called adversity. All depends on how you react to it and how your character is during the situation. Don’t look at the big picture when something stressful happens. Pick out the small details that are good, for instance at least the entire canvas didn’t tear off. Just the side where there aren’t as many lambs. You got this😎
I was worried about u at beginning of video, u will get through it. Then when WooHoo Cliff came through, hang in there, there is nothing u can do at the moment sheep are safe, we are all sending u hugs xx
Some people explode when anything goes wrong. Then there’s others who take it in stride as best they can, But when it’s one thing after another it’s ok to breakdown , then pick yourself backup and push on. We are only human after all.
Dear Sandi, you are a marvel. Know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. I have to admit I felt sick when I saw the thumbnail. Thank goodness you have a builder with integrity. Please please take care of yourself.
Prolly a good thing the barn is built the way it is. The damage to a traditionally roofed, stick-built structure could have been worse than what happened. It's just the roll of the dice as to what's placed where, the direction of the storm, and what, if any, damage it causes. In the meantime, Kensie is bopping around, supervising! "Me help! Me help!"
Oh no! Best of luck with the repair from everyone at Nettex, talk about bad timing! We would also like to thank you for using our Promark Spray :D Best of luck with lambing.
We had the same thing happen here in the UK,, our polytunnel was ripped in half(200ftx50ft)...Crops damaged etc etc,,, so we decided to take the whole lot down,,, Rebuilt a galvanised one with tin roof,,, Hope you have better luck. Keep your mindset positive,, The ewes will need you... 👍👍
Sometimes you just need a good cry to feel better and count your lucky stars. Glad you still have half a roof, no sheep got hurt, and no equipment wrecked and that your builder could get out so fast. In a pinch could you move the ewes over to the growout shed? I know it's not your normal operation but these are weird days.

I put new steel on my cattle barn roof 2 years ago, it didn't look any different from the inside, yet they were so scared to go inside. They'd step in and turn and run back out. They know, they always know.
Bless your heart!! I’m so sorry!! I live in Oklahoma, and we had some really bad thunderstorms last night too! I love how when you were cleaning the barn up, the ewes kept walking with you. It just really goes to show how much they trust you! I hope they get it fixed fast!! Much love to you!! 💗💗💗

Hang in there Sandi! You’re a farmer/rancher, part of a tiny part out the population, and it’s endlessly difficult. If I were to invest in a sheep operation, I’d come looking for you. You’re smart, strong and compassionate. I watch your channel to see how you deal with the difficulties and stress in your world, and you’re amazing!
Wow so sorry that all happened.. prayers everything works out before lambing...sandi your an Amazing woman I must say.. i miss your old video's where u helped pull lambs but I'm sure RUclips didn't buy those where some of the most informational videos. Love your channel.. always amazing content..
That is my biggest worry of a bright span building we are still researching different barns we can do in our area. We had the high wind Wednesday and heavy rain last night in Missouri luckily my ewes and sow's aren't due untill January !!
Wow!! And I was praising this kind of buildings so much.. Clear span guaranteed that it will withstand 100 mph winds or more.. There is not too much noise or metal cutting when installing new tarp. I’m sure your tough sheep will be all right. God bless, and stay strong!! Dry November day is better than snowing in the barn in January:)
You have done so well, Sandi. Though I can’t grasp the normal multiple tasks of everyday life on your farm are like much less the unexpected situations that happened prior to this traumatic event hitting together. Being able to stay on task was what drove you for the sake of the mommas and the lambs soon arriving. It was close, but I’m proud of you. It was one breath at a time for a bit. The quality and character of the businesses you interact with are making a great deal of positive difference in getting things right side up again. I only wish you were able to have more help. I’ve not been following you long and have zip knowledge of all of the necessary requirement of the whole farm, let alone the sheep. I’m praying the lambing and the repairs miraculously work together with no additional issues with the babies or the moms. Hug your beautiful children. That is good medicine. God bless you, Sandi, your family and the farm. 🤗💜☺️🙏🐑
You have thousands of us sending positive energy and prayers. All though we can’t be there we are with you. We are there in spirit. You are a inspiration to so many and you and the sheep will get through this!
Those winds were bad ripped siding off our house and the thunder storm we had last night has us worried about water damage. Keep your head up take it one thing at a time. You’ll persevere.
Glad you are getting the roof fixed, so quickly. Looking at the table and coffee pot, and heater on the floor, wondering if the table leg will get to hot by the heater? Find time to relax, distress. Maybe a nice relaxing dinner with your husband, at your favorite restaurant. Or something like that when you get time.
smiles ........ my prayers for you to receive the wisdom an confidence to deal what has been handed you ...... i have been watching you for awhile now ..... you are a very strong woman ..... you will do well with this ..... you have a great concept for raising sheep ..... keep up the great work !! . prayers .....prayers ..prayers

such a sweet message... thanks so much Beverly!
Don’t give up !!!

Sorry to hear about the damage; glad everybody and the sheep are safe. Stay farmer strong... praying for you guys and the new little ones on the way
Glad you are getting the roof fixed, so quickly. Looking at the table and coffee pot, and heater on the floor, wondering if the table leg will get to hot by the heater? Find time to relax, distress. Maybe a nice relaxing dinner with your husband, at your favorite restaurant. Or something like that when you get time.
