The two stories format does make it clear it wasn't quite planned as one big special book but it works way better than Wanted the Haunted Mask. The stories connect better as everything revolves around Slappy. The 2nd story stands out more with the change in formula as it becomes this comedy thing of Slappy trying to do evil. Story 1 is more basic but done decently with a fine sibling dynamic. It's one of the funnier books weirdly enough. The ending is a bit flat, not awful but not the strongest. I'd call it one of the better dummy books, not one of the /really/ good ones but above average. it's a decent effort. That ends every normal book, just a couple biographies left. Stine's is really fun, I've read it a lot as it's pretty interesting.

Also, I finally read Be Afraid-Be Very Afraid over this past weekend. You told me to let you know what I thought. I enjoyed most of the book, but those couple of twists at the end were so frustrating... I liked it up to that point. It had a D&D meets Jumanji meets the NeverEnding Story kinda feel... I wish the end was actually good. Oh well. Lol

I'm 37 started rereading Goosebumps about two years ago some I've read when I was a kid other's I never heard of. If it wasn't for this Channel I would have never heard of Horror Land, Series 2000, Goosebumps Most Wanted etc. So it doesn't matter if your 8,18 or 81 if you like the books read them.

Great review! I saw this book at my book fair I thought it was gonna be like 10$ but it’s was $16! I saw on Amazon it was $7 so I did not get it, but it’s a cool book and the cover is nice.
