Martin Rosenblatt of wild wild west was a great actor. sadly, he died at only 61.

I refuse to turn the new trash on. Late thirties/early forty show-bizzies know nothings attempting to grow a brain on the TV stage. Ugh! I'll watch Perry Mason re-runs on Me-TV or farming/Ag videos on my local PBS station, or You Tube instead.
I loved this show as a kid.Of course Mr Betty White, is the great host. I missed him after he passed

He always allowed the women to cheat on the gestures. Not fair at all.
I found out Ross Martin must have lived in my own town of Ramona, CA, in San Diego County. Just a little unincorporated east county town.
Another great classic...I'm interested in seeing Roger Smith and Carol Burnett.

The Volume on this episode is very low.
I hope the Page Boss will get the CC options to work. I think the problem was the desk microphones were too short and the guests and players spoke too low. A.L. had a microphone on his suit so he was easily heard. 😟

Depends on who gets away with it.
Most choose to ignore that rule unfortunately.
Blame it on Alan Ludden. He let the female celebs cheat frequently. The rule was "One-word" clues.

@@rockaway2k That's what someone told me, but I'm skeptical. It easily could've been edited out rather than burn it and I think it would still be kept in the vault
Joe Ambrose Yes. I concur with your take. They would have edited out a word or words and likely retaped from that point. If possible, the episode would have been preserved and played at another time in a rerun package.

Ross doesn't like to lose
That is what makes his game playing so fun to watch, too. He highly analyzes clues given and received for fear the opposition will get the password. Especially when Ross played against the best of the very best.
So later he became the Zodiac Killer. LOL.
He was a lawyer before turning to acting.
