  • What a way to start this new arc! 😬
The first part of the episode was so BITTERSWEET to us, we still miss Kyojuro so much! 😖 We loved his little brother, Senjuro, and we think their father is a very mysterious character... It would be amazing if we could find out more about Sun Breathing and why he was so upset when he saw Tanjiro with the Hanafuda earrings 🤭
We want to get to know the Sound Hashira and his new mission. But for now we can't figure out his character 🤔

Kyojuro Rengoku father ,Shinjuro loved his wives so much . So after her death he was mentally so depressed that he left the demon slayer corps and become a quick temper person .At that time he left rengoku's training and he became addict to alcohol.
But deep in his heart he wanted to see his children in front of his eyes , so he can't withstand the fact that rengoku become a hashira, since hashira were more prone to meet uppermoon demons and no uppermoon was defeated in 100+ yrs.
So he always discourage rengoku to leave the corps but deep down shinjuro wanted his son to be alive and health.

i'm happy to see U again ! It is so great reaction video...
Rengoku dad ( Shin-juro ) voice actor Koyama Rikiya, he has voice-acted the great fathers...i remember 'Kiri-tsugu' in Fate Zero and Jack Bauer in US drama '24'...these persons be the great father but have some crazy/violent natures ?
    i hoping next.

When Shinjuro (the father) began talking bad about Kyojuro, my rage was immesurable. How DARE he talk about his son that way. How DARE. He had the most amazing child anyone could ever ask for. And when HE cried, I cried. bc HE HAD BETTER feel that loss just as the rest of us have. Kyojuro was a light to all our hearts.
Edit: also, Tengen slapping that girls butt was not a sexual thing. Back then, it was a cultural thing to punish inferior soldiers who disobeyed orders. The Demon corps functions like a military. Bc she disobeyed when Tengen, her surperior, asked her to come with him him on a mission, she would've been flogged or worse. thats why he spanked her. it looks perverted in american/ other cultures though.

Yeah, we couldn't understand why he would say that about him. But you can tell he was in a tremendous amount of pain.
Thank you for the explanation! The spanking definitely looked weird to us 😂 good to know the cultural background ☺️

16:46 girls, if you think this is heart breaking, wait till you read the translation on the mugen train cd drama. It's more centric kyojuro's dad and his depression, along with the burdens of someone coming from a generational line of hashiras and how that affects Senjuro as well. Kyojuro worries and loves his surviving family so much and as much as i hate to say this, Kyojuro's fate has been sealed and his death would eventually free the surviving rengokus from the burdens expected of them because of their lineage. There are still a couple of rengoku materials hoping that it gets animated.

Oh that's so sad! To know one of his worst fears came true with Kyojuro's death must be so devastating to him

@@NerdishReact Shinjuro's actually one of my fave side characters in the series because he's the perfect example of how heavy the mental toll could affect a hashira. We tend to overlook that aspect because we think being a hashira is cool and badass but at the end of the day, they are just human beings. The mugen train CD drama is a bit spoiler territory but i really hope they animate the other stuff on kyojuro and his family too.

I love the drama CD so much! The monk coming to check on Shinjurō on the anniversary of his wife's death was so sweet, and it was so bittersweet to hear Senjurō and Kyōjurō talk about their mom and how she loved Noh theater.

@@ernestosaenz3675 I don't see how Shinobu is the fastest, honestly. Where do people get that idea? Is it confirmed by the writer? I still think Uzui is the fastest Hashira.
If I were to describe Shinobu, she would be the deadliest Hashira, since she uses lethal poison. One scratch from her sword will surely be fatal for demons.

    • @juanpedraw4245
      @juanpedraw4245 2 года назад

But if Shinobu really is the fastest, then I guess Uzui can be described as the most durable Hashira. He eats demon attacks for breakfast, and has an inhuman tolerance for demon and human poison.

    • @NerdishReact

We understand that, but that doesn't mean that he gets to be like that with his sons.
Also, that was Kyojuro's and Senjuro's call but we get can't be easy for a father anyways.
It's sad that his blade didn't change colors because that's the path he wanted to take. If becoming a Demon Slayer was his dream, he must have felt so disappointed in himself.
