I've been to St. George a couple of times. The red rock surrounding the city makes it a spectacular and beautiful area. Don't care much about the LDS church though, not the religious type, otherwise, absolutely gorgeous!
There has been an immense change in St. George because so many people are moving into the area. My fear is that the development is moving too fast, and it will not be suitable for the community in the future.

Friendly warning! When me and my mom were walk In the night just to hear the grasshopper and see the night sky some 2 people in a car were following us! We don’t know what they wanted or it was just a coincidence but we didn’t wanted to risk it - since they were following us for a good while- so we rushed back to the hotel without any signs of being scared or nervous. We don’t know if they wanted something with us or it was intentions - but when we were close to the hotel and rush there they drove their car a little faster. But anyway it was our bad experience on this and it might not be as safe what someone might think. But despite all that it’s a nice place to visit even live there- there isn’t much people around.
Well.... I have never visit there but, maybe they were going in the same way ...its really dangers could have crime. During night . Because if no one is in the city .can happen.
I'm moving to st George in 2years from southern California and I agree. I'm a bit old fashioned and a die hard Republican and I'm surrounded by libtards that don't know how to say please or thank you.
You have to realize that a lot of the Californians that come there are simply escaping what you don't want them to make Utah into! I like St. George a lot and I own land there, but don't know yet if I'll move there. If I do though, I'll only be increasing your state's conservative values and decreasing CA's even more!
There are more establishments now where you can purchase alcohol such as restaurants and some night clubs, I was a Mormon but I dont hate these people, they are Americans and citizens just like everyone else in the US.

I am a Mormon LDS. St. George, Utah my favorite place I'm a Mormon LDS Church I really love this place Campus my Favorite is Tuacahn so many places

Snow Canyon State Park is incredible and it's only 5 miles from the town. Zion Nat. Park is only 40 miles away.
