Oh this feels just like how I play glaceon in Panic Parade! Just, slower and normal match paced, haha.
((And in Panic Parade only I use Ice Shard instead of Freeze-Dry bc it’s more convenient to have Ice Shard available for combees/abras/alolan meowths. Or, any time that rapid attack scarf is up, Ice Shard can plain do more damage than Icy Wind on bosses. Ofc this is only in Panic Parade mode w/ max crit *&* max attack (for scope lens scaling) haha)).
I’ve read about blue buff glaceon and requiring level 30 items and everything, but I really needed to SEE it. Reading the write-ups about it makes it seem really overwhelmingly specific and stressful, but watching it this really doesn’t look like that big of a deal to pull off. I already have level 30 amp so I’ll have to try this out now that Panic Parade is gone!
And then see Timi buffing it for the exact same reason. I believe in some of the past patch notes that was their whole deal when buffing some of the mons.
Mimikyu was kinda like that "players don't pick him too often" so Mimikyu got the op power spike it got so moral of the story, never underestimate Timi and Tencent decision making.
They can see something is not being used or chosen and then go ballistic with the buffs!

I would rather see this Glaceon build in the meta than the point and click Icicle Spear and besides, I played this build when Glaceon first came out. Always loved this build when buffed once and nerfed two times. An actually fun build to play.

@@CrisHeroes I know but at least, it requires brains, right items and also some knowledge on the timing of those shards. Also, its hard but fun to use. Its the only few acceptable point and click that I can take which comprises of Hyper Beam, Flower Trick and etc that are fun to play and not a move with less skill.
It's definitely more entertaining than icy wind. But you only have to spam the icy wind button and A-press

Icy wind freeze dry is definitely my preferred build
and it's not even bad, it had higher winrate than IcicleSpear the last time it had a decent pickrate
Icy Wind: Requires you to stay on your toes and be on top of your cooldown to keep the crystals, and rewarded with late game burst damage.

@@babycakes5209 both builds are easy to play but icy wind can get ccd at the wrong time, teammates can steal blue buff, invade, etc compared to ice shard icicle spear which is completely self suficient and brainless

They're asking to buff icy wind but dont realize Gyarados Aqua tail + waterfall has no useage 😢

It's not that Gyarados is weak it's actually pretty strong. You don't feel it because Magikarp is trash and you take half the game to get to your power spike but by then it's too late.

Im so tilted when i jump into a glaceon with zeraora and then go back my volt switch to a tier 2 goal and the freakin ice thing follows me to the underworld.
Icy wind doesn't need a buff, it needs a rework, if you have the emblems and items, its a disgustingly good moveset, if you dont, its garbage, and I don't think thats how it should work.
other build also better for ripping objective that is good in soloq + better synergy with Unite

No nerf icicle spear by allowing you to stun glaceon out of it. Dont buff a strong skill just because the other one is broken.
bro there used to be no one playing icy wind and then I play today and suddenly every team has a glaceon and half of them are suddenly icy wind users

Maybe a slight increase to the crystals timer
But Icicle Spear def needs tweaks
Also, as unconventional as the Icy Shard combo is I like it... Though since that had changed something about Glaceon (do remember what it was), you can't keep your icy wind prepped anymore, the enhanced auto disappears shortly after you keep your crystals spun with Ice Shard
You can still juggle having permanent crystals, especially with blue buff but with the attack speed of Shard you can get them back easily enough
Plus both moves slow if I remember correctly, so it is also good with red buff

Icy Wind all the way! Love this build. Very friendly on a casual level, but not completely braindead
pay and win only with medals, as they are required 2 thousand pieces to fill all the gold medals, held items are upgraded very easily, in recent months the developers have been giving a lot of events, a lot of events, and items are upgraded very quickly, and if you also take into account rating rewards, then everything is quite easy

Does training map have different stats for players than ranked maps? I tried full CD emblems and items on dragonite and got the perma dragon dance, but on ranked it doesn't work

Probably but you either loose too much bulk or you can't get every boost you would like
Future sight Gardevoir and a little skill will take care of that little weasel. Why I didn't invest in that mon before is beyond me.
Nah. Gardevoir has terrible matchup into Glaceon. Skill doesn't change that.
@@DrageonLair heh. Maybe ya outta watch some of the future sight matches. Bushcamping, plus if ya stun em with moonblast right before, it stuns em long enough to smack em with the future sight. And that usually one shots them. Mean look Umbreon is also a good pairing with gard, for obvious evil reasons.

I dont know how the dmg is, but i feel like icy wind is much more balanced for a “point and click” ability compared to icicle spears that does way too much dmg
Also nerf icicle spear over buffing icy wind, cuz icy wind being buffed would just turn into icicle spears but faster, instead of the spears going at you 1 by 1, its all at once so its just worse. Nerfing icicle spears as the dmg can be kept, but it dont lock on anymore, that stuff shouldn’t be lock on and still shoot despite them being out of vision/out of screen. Something gotta go, either the range or the lock on. I want the lock gone, but maybe some likes the lock, so they should remove the range it has and it should stop if they are out of visions as well

Lmao saying Icy Wind needs a buff because less people play it is like saying Sylveon's Hyper Voice needs a buff because also less people play it compared to Mystical Fire and yet, Mystical Fire still needs a small damage buff imo

Finally, someone mentions cinderace, lol. It's stupidly overpowered after level 7. I can literally charge in most situations and come out on top. But does it need a nerf? No, because it requires a little skill to bring out it's full potential. Much like Greninja.

An attacker couldn't kill a defender in sec it's not a logic defender are tank why they should be melt like nothing then what's the point of having defender in game
