After the fight he said it was an early stoppage even though he thought he was in Vegas and then he mentioned getting caught only because he didn't want to be boring. So false in both aspects.
There was a moment in the 1st round where there was a switch in momentum almost. It went from aljo walking sean down looking to cut him off and get him against the fence, to omalley walking aljo down. I think aljo was trying all different types of ways to try and get an opening to shoot a takedown or clinch but he was scared to get countered. Omalleys footwork was too good. And as soon as aljo got impatient and tried to force an opening...the end
Aljo also said he was having trouble getting him pressed against the cage so he was gonna let omally press him then switch it and put O’Malley on the cage, but it also looked like aljo had a tiny bit of success by getting like 50% to a takedown and landed a punch or kick then jumped in and got caught
It seemed like Aljo could continue but O’Malley landed a lot of shots, referee did the right thing . If it continued he would have landed a lot more because he distanced himself so well Aljo would have had nothing to respond with.
If it was an early stoppages then Aljo would be complaining or at least bringing it up as a possibility. But he hasn't. Instead hes only praised O Malley for beating him handedly. So the fact that all these fans are claiming to know more than the fighter who was actually in the octagon and lost is hilarious
o'malley is a lot harder to grab than people think. everyones gameplan when fighting o'malley is to try pressuring him against the cage and taking him down. aljo only got in close with o'malley twice, and one of them was off of o'malley's own mistake. o'malley got out of both, which probably made aljo impatient and upset, then we saw what we saw
