I see what looks to be a rectangle hole on the top shelf on the left side. Is this so a long gun barrel can pass through so you can still have the top shelf installed.

The barrel shelf is adjustable height too right? Only “long gun” I have is an 18” shotgun with a folding stock so don’t need that up so high.
