10 Day Trend - How hot will it be and how long will the sunshine last?

- High pressure will bring a return of summer sunshine to most parts of the UK this week. Temperatures will rise (by day and night) with weekend highs expected to hit 30C in some locations. How long will it last? Alex Deakin looks at the likely scenarios for next week.

Especially when the German Met Office had warned the German government four days before, giving them the chance to evacuate and they couldn't be bothered.

I know it sounds crazy but I sleep in my hallway when it's really hot. There's ventilation coming from under the doors plus it's away from any windows. I sleep like a baby. It's cooler and plus were I live there's alot of crime do u imagine a burglar finding a 6"9 20 stone bloke on the other side of the door lol 😂 try me

I hate it, I'm literally in quarantine from school until the 24th July while school finishes for the celebrations on the 22nd July, just self isolating in the super hot weather is terrible and rubbish

Can't it just stay with high pressure and not leave us. I'm sick of these low pressures. We have only started this hot weather and I'm already hearing low pressure is most likely to come back! It's only fair this becomes prolonged as we keep having low pressures and not leaving us!

Same here any thing above 16 Celsius is like torture.
Just get all sticky and sweaty and hot cars are horrible. I like nice weather but wouldn't want it hot and sunny all year round with hot nights. I don't mind Autumn and Winter. Can easily get warm.

Pack some long sleeves! Torquay can be misleadingly chilly by the sea and on the east facing coast!
