Thank you so much for your videos. So refreshing to watch a groomer actually groom out a dog and not just shave them down and call it a day. I wish you were in my area.

This was an incredibly useful video for me. I have an English Cocker (show type) whom I groom myself. She has never been to a professional groomer and she is now 8. Her trim ups happen every 3 weeks and if its cold, just the face ears neck and paws, and maybe shorten the leg feathers and thin out the legs and chest where necessary. I am a big fan of this type of sport look for my dog. Now to be sure, I have to do ALOT more hair removal and tons and tons of thinning to do. My goal is that, except for her face ears neck, armpits and armpits, I want her coat to look not obviously groomed. Her furnishings on the underside have always perplexed me as to the angle and so forth---now i know. She is the same color as your demo dog but her coat is much more dense. I was thinking of getting a pair of those chunking shears. I have a very good set of of scissors and thinning shears but think I might try a set of those chunking shears. It would speed the process up and let me be more consistent with blending the shorter and longer parts of her coat.

This is a helpful video but my Setter is SUCH a wiggle worm. And I don't have a standing table, nor something to keep his head up. I'm on the floor trying to comb and cut. Both my Setters HATE having their feet touched. I suppose it's just practice, practice, practice, and getting them used to the touch?

What grooming table are you using in this video?

Thanks to your channel and this video, I feel a lot more confident about groomer my Irish Setter service dog. Can I ask if you recommend any cheaper thinning shears? I'm really impressed that you can send these back to be sharpened, but my wallet is NOT on board with it lol also, do you recommend any particular shampoos, etc.? Also, is the Wahl KM10 unnecessary since you used a different clipper here? Sorry for all of the questions. I just want to be sure I'm giving my pup the best groom that I can. I wish I lived in your area, I'd gladly fork over the money for an in-person demo haha

Hi, really enjoy your vids, you featured a brush and demonstrated on your doodle? I'm sorry, lol, I just forgot the name of the breed. Lol. But I flipped back through your vids but could not seem to find that particular vid. Could you please give the name and kind of brush ?
    Thank you.

She’s done so many videos with Big Gus the Golden Doodle and used multiple brushes. There was even a comparison video. I bought the kenchii slicker brush and kenchii grooming rake based on her recommendations. I really enjoy the rake, even on my cats! I think the activet slicker was another popular one. Hope this helped

You do everything very professionally, though I don't like the result.
The english setter doesn't look like an english setter anymore.

Love your content! How do you clean your absorber towels though? I struggle with cleaning mine.
It seems like running them through the washer doesn’t quite work, hand washing is tedious and doesn’t seem to work either. Mine smell musty. Any advice?

Do you have a video where you trim a Llewellin setter more naturally? You say in your video you wouldn’t trim the backside feathers so much. I would like to see how to clean up the back side more naturally.

Can blending and chunkers be used on my sweet girl, I'm not positive but I believe she is shitz , she is blonde and cotton white underside. I adopted her back in 2015. Someone had dumped her out, she had a chip and animal control (my nephew worked there at the time) estimated she had been on the streets for awhile. Her hair was was down to the ground and so matted that she could barely walk or squat to use the bathroom.
Her hair grows so fast and I know I don't cut her in a shutzu cut and since I discovered you I have been gathering knowledge and want her to look her best.
Are there tails cut like you did Jake ? I know you are busy any tips will be helpful.

Horrible job on the ears. Setter ears are clipper one third of the way down from the skull and hair is not left sticking out with bald spots from over cutting with chunkers.
