I agree. I think it is stupid but at the same time why scam people in the first place. Think of something simple people might need and sell them to people and you are good to go. I work in banking and I constantly see scammers prey on the elderly. Seeing someone held responsible for stealing from them is great.
Exactly. My 86 year old cousin was scammed out of 76k until his sister discovered the treachery and made some phone calls.

@catc2552 - It's really sad because years ago, I was caught up in a scam. I didn't realize it until the scammers kept telling me that I had to send money. Once I realized it was a scam, I reached out to the Consumer Protection Agency. Long story short, there was a class action lawsuit, and I got every dime back about 1.5 years later. I didn't want to tell my family because I felt embarrassed and stupid that I fell victim to a scam. I learned a valuable lesson. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Do my research first, and don't make hasty decisions. Pray about all things. If I feel uneasy/unsure about something, I don't go through with it. I'm glad that Jen will be held accountable for her actions!

She took a plea deal because as the case got ready for trial her lawyers saw all the evidence against her, knew they were going to make an example out of her, and made her realize a plea deal was the best option.

When the small companies filed lawsuits, Trump would purposely have his attorney bury them in legal maneuvers because he knew that they couldn’t afford to keep fighting and lots of those small businesses had to file bankruptcy and shut down.

She’ll probably be back on the show, and explain pleading guilty was a ‘deal’. The sad reality is on reality tv, this kind of behaviour makes for good tv. But I do think there are certain ‘instances’ where a moral code of conduct should be in place. But my morals, your morals, all different these days. I always find people who spend frivolously ‘suspect’. I don’t know many rich people, but those that I do, they aren’t extravagant, because they know how hard it is to make money and succeed.
