A fantastic simple conference that makes nanotechnology more understandable to everyone. Jonathan Coleman succeeded in alleviating the threat often associated to nano products. Bravo Jonathan, good conference.
I want to ask a different question: At 9:16 on the time dial, Jonathan Coleman indicates that he published something about this in a journal. It sounds like he's saying "Nater" or something like that. What is he referring to...? Can I obtain that from the Internet...? Anybody...? I want to read more on this for my curiosity.
Will somebody with knowledge fill me in on what proportions to use for duplicating this experiment. I bought five 3 gram tubes of graphite dry lubricant for 15 grams total. I have Dawn dish detergent and I will pick up a used kitchen blender at a thrift shop soon and I have bottled drinking water and a used mason jar w/gasket seal so I'm almost ready to womp up a batch of graphene. But I need to know the correct proportions, 'nutherwords how much of each element to use. Anybody...? Please...?
***** Okay then... So, I will add dish liquid enough to show some greyness as evidence of bubble activity. I don't think right now that I will try the ink cartridge unless I find a way to 1). clean out the residual ink from a previously emptied cartridge and 2). reload the empty cartridge properly. If I can work that out, then I will do it. I will use a simple paint brush and apply a streak of my graphene to a piece of paper, then test it with a battery, some alligator clips with lead wires and my voltmeter. Thank you for your reply...!
Thomas De Lello Ummm... 10 to 25 milliliters of kitchen dish detergent seems like a lot. That's almost what I use for a sink full of dirty dishes...! I will combine the graphite and water in a blender first and turn it on. Then I will add the detergent drop by drop until I begin to see the color change from black to a slight gray...I'm not getting any comments from anybody here.
***** Oh please... I'm just dealing with cataract eye surgery and had my left eye done yesterday and my right eye done two weeks ago. I'm only waiting for my eyes to focus properly again before I go messing around with blenders and stuff. Sheee...sh...! Calm down. By the way... You're right about three letter agencies and their sh*t...

Great presentation to make graphene at home.....

Make that "Nature"... this must be what Jon's talking about at 9:16

He said nature...
latex i was thinking about it. Today i will try to apply my nano graphene into the Latex.
great video tanks for sharing
Thank you.
amazing

I have 15 grams of graphite dry lubricant. How much water and how much dish washing liquid will I put in the blender with it...??? Please...!?

***** Hay... I got my information:
1/2 liter water
10 - 25 milliliters dish detergent
20 - 50 grams graphite
Blender time: 10 - 30 minutes.
Those are pretty loose limits.
