I'm an Aussie of Irish extraction who has shared every vid I can find of her on face book with my friends. We were lucky enough to go to Ireland this year, walking around Galway town around a corner on Shop St, there she was dancing up a storm. Introduced myself and we spoke for a while. Even bought one of her DVD's. Not met a nicer, more down to earth entertainer. The highlight of our European trip
Was there last week, bought her DVD . have loved her dancing from watching on Facebook. From half a world away (Australia) walked around onto Shop Street, there she was. Mesmerised I was . I had to move around to see her because everybody swamped her and it was hard to see her
Irish are used to it, l would stop though, my wee girl is in dancing and she would stand watching all day and me too probably with her. Well done to Emma keeping our culture alive ❤️
Irish culture should be treasured around the world as much as it is by the Irish. It is a joy to watch the youngsters keeping the traditions alive. They are from the soil and the blood straight to the heart. I could watch this girl all day.
My good Lord ! What is up with so many people these days, such a talented young lady and most just walk on by without a look or flicker of emotion. Keep dancing Emma...
Well now, Emma, reminds me of the Mrs (Sligo girl) back in the day dancing in her Nurses beetle crushers on the kitchen floor. Bless yer heart. Keep safe now darlin girl. xxx
If I was there, I would have stopped and watched every second. Love Irish music, dancing, Guinness, the people, the craic, just about everything.about the place.
Robin Stephenson You’ve missed out Catholic Church child abuse, gypsies, forced adoption, nuns abusing single mothers, priests raping nuns, terrorist financing and crooked politicians.
Strontium Stargazer don’t be such a negative Nancy! Every country in the world has got a few bad eggs in it. Anyone who visits Ireland is unlikely to have a bad experience. The Irish are overwhelmingly a positive and happy bunch with a rich culture, great music and lovely old pubs. Have a Guinness and cheer up 😁☘️
I was winded just during the first minute of her performance! To think of the years of dedication perfecting her skill and to have the folks just pass by without a glance. Many thanks for sharing your Artistry!
This is the fourth time a video of this girl dancing has come up. Gotta tell ya, I am NOT getting tired of her!!! And I love the music. You can hear where American Blue Grass music came from. Also sounds like seafaring music! Really great stuff. So uplifting!! 👍
Matter of fact the Ozarks have a tradition of “buck dancing” which is just like this. Clearly they brought it from the old sod. I came across a vid of the great Doc Watson playing for his neighbors while they danced up a storm. I was privileged to do a two hour interview with the Doc when he was playing in my town. What a guy. Brilliantly brainy, and he wasn’t just a country dude. He listened to, and loved, everything from Django to Mahavishnu and Doctor John. One of the core experiences that make for a happy life! And btw, check out Alison Krauss’s work with Robert Plant. A delight!
@@danielschaeffer1294 I've heard Allison and Robert. Good stuff. Yeah, all the country music, blue grass, fiddle playing, clogging and such are all Scots Irish in origin. Love it all. I never knew much about Doc when I was in my teens until a friend of mine told me about him. That's when I learned flat picking. Didn't really follow Doc's career that much, but what I heard and saw on TV, on rare occasions over the years, was great! Cheers!! 👍
Just discovered these Emma O' Sullivan Videos on RUclips today and I can't stop watching them because she's so talented cute & charming! Makes me want to visit over there but I'am so far away here in Florida, USA but I am going to subscribe to every youtube channel she's on. Keep Dancing Beautiful Lady because us guys in America Love You!
Emma made my trip to Galway. Travelling from Australia and visiting ‘The Olde Country’, was great to find a traditional Irish Performer. From what I learnt, she has dance her way across Europe. Keep kicking those heels up.
Lovely dancing. Here in the Western Part of North Carolina USA, we call the dance " glogging"! The roots are very Irish. It takes a great deal of strength and talent to perform this type of dancing. It requires a steady and rhythmic movement of your feet. I love it!!!
She earns a little dancing in the street And in those places where the people meet; She's brave enough to do her lonely dance; Many pass by without a second glance.
@@strontiumstargazer3124 foreskin petergazer no way you have the coordination, rhythm, stamina, balance, or talent to sean nos like Emma, but I bet you sachet in that leotard and skirt in your mom's basement.

She just seems so happy........ absolute joy to watch
How can people just walk past such a beautiful talented young lady without a second glance. Beats me, I would be totally mesmerised.
People to do, Things to go and places to see.
They are probably used to it. You know how people take things in their own culture for granted? 'Til it's gone....

Mindless NPCs. The world is full of them.
They are probably Irish locals. 🤷♀️ Most have been taught Irish dance and grew up with it.... life goes on and the day moves fast.

She does it because she like it not for fame
The little girl in red really wanted to join in.
"And I ask you, friend, what's a fella to do ?
'Cause her hair was black and her eyes were blue"
Exactly....it gets no better than that!
