I totally get that and wondered quite frequently at that distinct aesthetic and seeing the changes over the course of the 112 OPM Demo Discs from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. :D
man this takes me back, i distinctively recall talking over the phone with my buddy watching the first ever blazblue ct tourny on live tv and it was just them spamming 6S. still it was a big deal at the time
Going my way root 2 is more damaging. You can also link 3 c.short into the first super. Root 2 lets you finish with s.fierce, running special with fierce to slash through then dash super.
A lot of these were actual QA folks with no on-screen experience and were terrified of being put in front of millions of subscribers. Long before RUclips or Twitch where just about anyone could get that kind of experience! :D
I think Hibiki's deadly rave can end with a link cl. stHK into crossover slash xx lvl1 as an alternate ender that probably does more damage. I think that generally goes for all the deadly rave supers.
N-Groove stocks going up
Damn
It's the man himself! Love your videos
I bought CvS2 as a kid because of this video
Godspeed, Mr. Cat in the Hat appreciator man
Favorite PS2 Game: Cat in the Hat
One of the other Cool Moves presenters has Mary Kate and Ashley's Crush Course listed as his favorite game.. :D
The random fun fact is money
@@TesseractUnfoldedI almost wonder if choosing a bad game was some kind of in-joke among the team?
@@thepenguin55 Maybe? I think it's just a few jokers in the group, as MOST of them have more understandable faves. :D
Its kinda sick
I love how early to mid 2000s has its own aesthetic. I don’t mean the low resolution and 4:3 but just like the graphic art, the editing etc..

this is so cool, thank you sharing fighting game tutorial content from the early 2000's. I'm always curious as to what things looked like back then
I've got all the Cool Moves queued up now, and hope to be getting back to the full-issue OPM videos soon!
I only trust coaches that declare that their favorite PS2 game is The Cat in the Hat.
Big ups to this guy! I hope he’s looking forward to the current resurgence of Capcom vs. SNK.
That's probably why this particular Cool Move has gotten so much attention. Most barely make it out of double digit views. :D
Too bad capcom will ruin it somehow.
@@Jahn_Pah_Jonz I have to agree with you, and I do have my concerns.
This is gem of a forgotten era!
I entirely agree! More Cool Moves are queued up and I'm hoping to resume my full OPM disc gameplay uploads soon as well!
Simple.. but not bad.. 2004 was different ❤

Can you teach us how to daigo parry?
Press forward to parry all the hits. Jump and press forward. Then do Ken's super.
@PinkyJustice OMG thank you got it first try 😊
@@nonya6540 I knew you had it in you
*picks Hibiki first*
Real one here
My friend that good combo move
My god why is this so funny
"Massive Damage" two years before the Genji Crab. :D
Was this filmed in 2001?
2004, I think.
@@TesseractUnfolded hell yea bro!
Is that the same Lucas Okuma from the Stunt People team with Eric Jacbous?
He has a linkedin that says he's currently an athletic trainer so probably.
I like how they show you how to do it but not how to set it up and any instances where it'd work best like punishes.
Just set up with their various combo routes. Obviously needs testing 😀
This guy sounds so bored omg

I don’t know about using the gauge it’s not viable at high-level level we want easy baby mode stuff so use a groove
.... 😂 you can do this in Groove bruh
