I think that the Apple health data accurately reflects John’s movement… was he stumbling across the lawn after hitting his head on the taillight? Was he stumbling because he had been in an altercation? 😥
Only one person was acting like a complete lunatic that night. One person hated John that night. One person had damage to her car and John suffered blunt force trauma. Kate Read is guilty. Nobody saw it happen so she will probably get away with it. She is definitely a wack job.
I think 30 months is way too long for Karen Read to still be walking the streets freely. They will re try her soon and they will get it right. People will continue to capitalize on coverage and make a mockery of Officer John O'Keefes death. $$$$

What if she is guilty and she backs into your loved one l would feel bad for your parents and what if it was two years ago and your Dad couldn’t make but one day of the trail and your Dad couldn’t attend no more than a day with your accuser sitting right in front of there face that must be traumatic and traumatizing alone for your parents God forbid , yea so if you’re guilty how would it help to have you throw in jail? 1. At 12:25 am - JO’s GPS phone data shows him stopping at the edge of the Alberts property.
2. At 12:31 am - KR’s (Lexus/Toyota) Suv data shows she slams it in to reverse going back 62 feet at approx 25 mph and classic signature of a pedestrian strike. Also registered was a slight turn of the steering wheel from left to right (JO would’ve been to the SUV’s rear right).
3. At 12:32 am - JO’s phone health app data shows JO stops moving for the last time and in the exact location where JO was found, lining up also with his GPS data.

I'm a police detective in Europe, Hungary. I've heard year after year from my former istructors and superiors, how bad work we do sometimes, how negligent we are. They always said, look at the USA, the american law enforcement unites are the best of the best! The Best? Really?
And now, i've seen this case. It's a full of shame. The crime scene work, the collecting and not collecting of the (so called) evidence, the witness questonings, the illogical and biased leading of the case, it's all rookie level mistakes? No, it's so much worse.
As a police officer, my integrity is my number one value. I will never take it on the risk, like this troopers did. Shame on them!
Even the CW medical examiner's report reads this is not and never was a car accident. Its disgusting that all these people failed a cop. He deserves better. He may have been murdered but the weapon was NOT a car. Shame on them for failing this man.

Thank you Kevin linehan for saying accusing innocent people this has to stop this is what I've been saying all along. It's despicable what the defense team specifically Alan Jackson and Karen Reed have done to multiple people's lives and careers some of them before they even started and some as they are ending. And I absolutely don't agree on what they did to proctor.

I really liked how he said a dog would leave teeth wounds from top and bottom teeth, yet there were top and bottom teeth patterns. Also what he said isn’t true dogs don’t always leave top and bottom teeth marks/wounds anyway. He should know these facts, he’s only been talking about them for months on end.

@@KaitlynJaneyThey could have swabbed those scratches/bite marks to see if they had canine DNA. Accordingly, human scratches would have left DNA. 🧬 John and his family deserved a professional investigation of the crime scene and his body. His colleagues failed him.
If you don’t know exactly what happened, that means not guilty! Couldn’t the other jurors dispute whatever evidence they were using to find her guilty
The jury never knows what exactly happened it's just a matter of what they believe has been proven.

@@Moira-v8e He invited her that night and wanted her to stay all weekend, she originally was planning to stay home which is why she wanted the plumber to fix her shower, John was jealous of another man fixing her shower. It took Karen a little while before she got really upset and left those mean voicemails it wasn’t immediately after she dropped him off or even before, they were all loved up beforehand. Karen got so upset because on NYE only a month prior John left Karen snd his kids all night leaving Karen to care for them on holiday and the next day she thought she saw John kiss that inappropriately young girl. And on the night he died when Karen dropped John off she saw more very young girls which came back to her mind when he wasn’t responding to her about coming home.

First, the defense proved that Proctor had possession of the vehicle when the 24mph key log was made. Not Karen.

I couldn’t agree more with you. When I was listening to him and he mentioned “ bulletproof case” , I was agreeing with him because I thought he was talking about a bulletproof case for the defense. And then he mentioned prosecution. He believes what he wants to believe. His theory is so backwards. And when he said that people need to stop blaming innocent people, I thought he meant Karen Read.
Believe me. When I first heard about this case talking about a conspiracy theory about a police cover up, that’s why I started following those trial, and as to judge on my own. I didn’t want to believe the conspiracy theory at first and went in thinking that Karen was as guilty. I watched the trial gavel to gavel and anyone with any common sense can clearly see that there really is a cover up. I hope the FBI can get to the bottom of this and unveil the truth and show those idiots the truth.

He was such a embarrassment! Such disrespect for both John O'Keefe and Karen Reed as well as the community imo. I do not believe any of these Làw enforcement officers, State police investigators showed Mr. O'Keefe the respect he deserved in this entire investigation.
He was demoted, not fired. It will have no effect on the 2nd trial. Jury was 10-2 for guilty. Next time, the CW will correct mistakes and get 12 folks to convict.

You make a good point. Seriously, all of them were BIG drinkers and drinkers ONLY hangout with other drinkers. If none of them were drunk none of this would have ever happened. If you need reference of what it could look like check out pictures of Paul O’keefe’s vehicle when he got into a dui accident 3 months before John passed away. He was going 24 mph while drunk. Karen paid money for his bail and lawyer.
Look, how can they retry this case and honestly get 12 jurors to convict? The evidence won’t change. The medical examiners outcome won’t change. The crash experts opinions will remain the same. It’ll be a pointless effort.

I think it was a shame that the jury couldn’t get any read backs, they are supposed to go off notes only with 70 witnesses and 2 months of testimony.

Thank you. What great insight. I watched her suffering in the courtroom today, but that's all I could think about. Whatever the McCabe's/Alpert's are covering up, it included the family dog. No way the suburban folks rehomed the fiamily dog of 8 years. That pet was like a family member and probably in line to receive an inhertance. Why didn't anybody toss around the theory of Higgin's plow truck being responsible for the marks on John's arms? This idea would not be far fetched. That would be the only reason Higgins would ask so suspiciously immediately after the crime and the next day. I can't butt dial as many people as that whole group did. It only has a 2% error margin it’s generally always very accurate with steps.
It does quite accurately, I believe the data was correct and doesn’t lie, sadly I can't say the same about the prosecution.

The question Vinny SHOULD have asked Kevin is not whether those looked like dog bites, but how he believed a car could have produced those particular scratches and puncture wounds. Remember, the burden of proof is on the prosecution, so they need to prove that those injuries were caused by Karen's car. The defense does not have to prove they came from a dog.
To see Paul O'Keefe making a comment to Karen Read while he was leaving the court is despicable it seems like they are friends with the Alberts to and they don't care if they put an innocent woman to prison for the rest of her life.

I come from a law enforcement family and this case was mishandled from the start. There was confirmation bias, so much reasonable doubt, and the investigators, are some of the worst police officers I've ever seen! It was an embarrassment and I can't believe the DA decided to prosecute this case. They could have gone for a lesser charge, perhaps. However, the witnesses got DESTROYED on cross. I came to a 'not guilty' verdict with the last 3 witnesses that the defense put on the stand. It's scientifically impossible for that man to be hit and killed by an automobile and not have a single bruise. And you sell the house, the text messages, got rid of the dog, the impeachment of the witnesses for the prosecution, the conflicts of interest, all of it was awful!!! I honestly can't see how a guilty plea is an option. I'm shocked the DA decided they're going to retry her. Good luck. Iwhat a waste of tax payer's money.

I don’t understand how they were able to track Alex cox’s steps with his phone and for some reason in this case they can’t figure out for sure if John went it the house or not.
If it aligned with the prosecutions theory they would have said he was in that house 100% based on that phone data. I think it’s wrong the prosecution was allowed to argue inaccuracy because in any other case it would have been used as proof. The health app data for steps has only a 2% error margin, it is generally very accurate and I would say it would have been accurate in this case.
In a pretrial hearing Lally admitted he could not argue that Jen McCabes Google search occurred at 2:27am then went on to argue that also.

Could karen and John have had an argument in the car, he's got out of the car drunk, she's driven off. He's smashed the glass then slipped and bumped his head. An animal has come up to him and caused all of the scratches. Which would leave this as a devastating accident 🤷... I don't believe he was struck by the car as there are zero injuries to suggest he's been hit by it, not even a single bruise. That's the only thing a jury needs to know, did Karen hit him with the car. Everything else seems irrelevant. Proctor wanted a quick result therefore didn't do a proper investigation at all which has meant John's family are left with unanswered questions and a person may go down for a murder she didn't commit.
I feel the truth is Karen Red’s boyfriend John went over that house alone without Karen because he really wanted to confront Hans about Karen and then a fighting ensued and that’s what happened to him

If you look at all the evidence with non bias eyes (that's difficult I know) There's no way to convict. I'm sorry, she may be guilty but there is NO proof. You absolutely must find not guilty if there's ANY reasonable doubt. The reasonable doubt in this case is a canyon size gap.....
