- Recently acquired the infamous pancake head hulkbuster Lego Set 76164...this set had so much potential so heres my solution to it!

Hope you all enjoy this quick rework of the 76164 hulkbuster set! Nothing like a little fix to the waist. Though this removes the waist articulation but i think its a fair tradeoff :D Enjoy the weekends!

funny how only slight modifications make this set so much better, this is why lego shouldn't budget cut their mech by removing knee joints.
Its for stability not budget
@@big_bicep_bill7594 they have some stable joints.ccbs,ratchet joints ecs. They can also stack multiple joints together for more friction.
Edit:they can also use the tecnic pistion used in bionicle and stuff for extra friction and detail.mayby even multiple of them.

People won 't get a certain set cause of how it is built then somebody shows how good these sets can be with the rite modifications. Why I buy Legos cause I can always modify and build my own stuff.

The waist change is legendary, it makes that pancake headpiece look incredible and comic accurate and it gives it that beautiful hunched back

@@Chubbybots What pieces do you need to build this Hulkbuster upgrade, did you only use LEGO pieces from the Hulkbuster vs. A.I.M Agent set itself or did you use LEGO pieces that you owned?

For crying out loud. Why on earth LEGO hasn’t hired you yet!? That’s an amazing redesign! So much better!
Because It is much easier to redesign an already existing set than it is to make one from scratch while worrying about budget and everything else that goes into making lego sets
Absolutely loved the editing in this one, and the rework is genuinely amazing, it always blows my mind that you can make the smallest of changes and still end up improving it so much

The head isn't that bad itself. With the angle added, I think it looks even better than the classic dome head.

I think lego failed when the hadn't have ironman in a uncomfortable position. Great build, I think they should've made a new peice for the helmet peice if to make it more comic accurate.

OMG that is sooo good. Can you make a list of the extra parts that you need to use to make the mod? Please also make an alternate build of the Flaming Foundry, it just bothered me because when I first saw that set, I thought that it was full of different elements to make a awesome alternate build, and i thought "I bet Chubbybots made a alternate build of it." Its amazing what just a rework of the posture of a mech changes in terms of the over all feel of it, that and a change of the distance between shoulders. it made it from looking like someone squished the Hulkbuster's head and upper torso as if someone dropped a loony toons' anvil ontop of it, to a brute of a machine ready to fight.
It doesn't need saving looks fantastic on my shelf.
