Im 66 y.o. now but I've never heard anyone from anywhere sing so captivatingly hypnotic the way she does! No words could aptly describe her incredible musicality... Thanks for reacting to Angelina, I would suggest more songs, but honestly, you could go to her cover channel and pick any song you like, each and every one of them is great and will surprise you each time when you realize she can do even more with her voice and ability to pour emotion in the songs. She is young and has been exploring different types of music even though her strengths are centered around jazz and jazzy renditions of other music.

THAT is the reaction I expect to see every time I watch someone react to this song for the first time. It looked like you were leaning in to get a good look at the beginning, to make sure it was her singing. Then when you knew it was, there was just a look of pure joy, mixed with awe and disbelief on your face. I must have watched this video 50 times on my own, and 150 times of people reacting to it, and EVERY time, I get this stupid smile on my face. There's a difference between ANGELina and the mainstream. Most of this is not taught. This is something you've born with. She's been allowed to develop her abilities in her tempo. She's attended after school arts and crafts programmes that are available in Norway. But I believe it's been mostly to learn to play instruments and do arrangements. She started out with Jazz, and she was belting out Whitney Houston I will always love you, at 1.5. So I think she's one of the few who can say "I could sing long before I could talk" Quincy Jones have said, she's the best voice since MJ. (!!) Now there's a qualitystamp for you. The remaining comment is an opinion rant directed at and against those in the music and recording industry who mold young singing talent in an adult manner - "I put a spell on you (because you're mine...)"?!!? No doubt the girl can crazy sing!... but the amazement factor stops there for me. What does she know experientially, at 9 or 10 y.o. about this and most of the other "mature" cover songs she does? He performed it the same year by being carried on to the stage in a coffin. When the music started, he "rose"from the coffin and started singing. Angelina needs no such gimmicks in this tribute to him. At the beginning of the video you may have noticed she was holding a candle on which is a picture of Hawkins. Also, she is finishing some notes, which she hands to the pianist. They are her instructions to the band on how she wishes them to play the music. Since an early age, Angelina has chosen the songs she wishes to perform and arranged both lyrics and melody until she is satisfied that they truly reflect the emotions of the song.
My introduction to Angelina was on her first appearance at Norway's Got Talent and I didn't expect much from a 7 year old. Just a cute little girl, all nervous, rushing the song in parts, hesitating and then stumbling over or forgetting her words and generally acting her age and doing her best to get through a childish song like "Twinkle, twinkle little star". What did I see? Well, it was a seven year old child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth, where there once were Baby teeth. Thanks for reacting to Angelina, I would suggest more songs, but honestly, you could go to her cover channel and pick any song you like, each and every one of them is great and will surprise you each time when you realize she can do even more with her voice and ability to pour emotion in the songs. She is young and has been exploring different types of music even though her strengths are centered around jazz and jazzy renditions of other music.

THAT is the reaction I expect to see every time I watch someone react to this song for the first time. It looked like you were leaning in to get a good look at the beginning, to make sure it was her singing. Then when you knew it was, there was just a look of pure joy, mixed with awe and disbelief on your face. I must have watched this video 50 times on my own, and 150 times of people reacting to it, and EVERY time, I get this stupid smile on my face. There's a difference between ANGELina and the mainstream. Most of this is not taught. This is something you've born with.
She's been allowed to develop her abilities in her tempo.
She's attended after school arts and crafts programmes that are available in Norway.
But I believe it's been mostly to learn to play instruments and do arrangements.
She started out with Jazz, and she was belting out Whitney Houston I will always love you, at 1.5. So I think she's one of the few who can say "I could sing long before I could talk"
