What bullet feeder are you using in this press?

Mr Bullet Feeder Gen 2 and an optical bullets sensor from Rex Roach in place of the original bullet sensor.

I suggest breaking down and just spending the extra money on the FW Arms auto centering decapping die. It's expensive but well worth it on this press where it's going to actually help draw the case further into the shell plate and center it up perfectly causing that clunk on the down stroke. Seems like you're having the same small issue I had with 300blk which was the cases not being pushed into the shell plate enough and it's making the die collide with the top of the case. Some people try hating on this press but I love mine, just went through 500 9mm in 1 sitting with no problems yesterday on mine.

I decap on my xl750 so no primers are in the cases. The hangup seems to be my hold down die. It acts sort of like an “M”. I think the hold down die tip is a little big. Also I want to add size and trim at station 3 and the FW would interfere. I can’t fit a Dillon trimmer with my current die setup.
It’s a good press once you get it dialed in.

So I’m looking to either get an apex 10 or the x10…. I’m looking to make it a solid 223 only press and I’m curious if I’m better off spending the extra for the apex or if this x10 is really worth the savings…. Do you think this press will last the test of time?

May I ask what weighted knob you have on your powder check die? I have trouble with mine resetting, and this looks like the solution.

@@4FingeredReloader It’s one of the other die inserts from the powder check kit.
