Why don’t more people use mixed sets? Using the full armor set for a monster will give you glaring weaknesses and you’ll have to switch out all your armors and decoration almost every fight! I try and balance my resistances out, only having one in the negatives being a -5 against fire attacks
People use full sets for multiple reasons: 1) It's the most intuitive thing to do at first. A lot of players wouldn't think to mix armor pieces from different sets at first. 2) Farming one monster over and over again (even if it's a rather hard monster like Rajang) gets easier as you farm it more. Even if a monster is a really hard one, it generally gets easier as you fight it more often, since you're learning its patterns and such really well. If you need to farm multiple monsters for armor parts, you can't get on a roll like that, making it hard to farm. 3) They often look better than mixed sets. Mixed sets can look absolutely AWESOME, but they can also look rather ugly, and even ugly full sets often look better than ugly mixed sets. 4) It gives them a bigger sense of accomplishment. This is especially true if the monster or quest whose drops are required to make the set is particularly hard, like the Rajang or Gogmazios. It's kind of a trophy of sorts- a symbol of "hey, I'm really good at fighting this monster." 5) The skills in full sets often work really well together anyway. 6) Really good mixed sets often rely on great talismans, and if you don't gave great luck, then you're kinda screwed. High-level players know that elemental resistances don't really make much of a difference. And it's generally a good idea to switch weapons and armors out for drastically different monsters, elemental resistances aside (because they're not important). I wouldn't use the same weapons or armor skills for a Gogmazios that I would for a Rajang.

Maybe you can help me. I downloaded the Custom Quest maker and made a simple easy quest of taking down an Apex Seregios, Zinogre, and Rajang. Slightly weaker too so I can easily see if it works. It has however, worked fine. (My first problem was that after I took down the Rajang, the quest didn't end. But I fixed it.) But I have come across another issue where in the Rewards Screen, the game would crash and take me back to the home menu. Why is that? (The rewards are fairly reasonable too.)

+Sultan Kazuo Jein. . Ich habe momentan zwar alles belegt, kann aber auch einige Sets überschreiben, die ich teilweise nicht so oft benutze bzw die ich extra für eine bestimmte Quest gemacht habe. Aber mehr Plätze würden nicht Schaden ;) Was mich aber noch mehr nervt beim Sets machen, ist dass ich ich immer diese verdammten Dekos Die ich besitze, aber irgendwo verbaut habe mühsam Raussuchen muss..... Das könnte Capcom echt mal ändern.......

Troy Hadge I got some Charms from 140 Guild Quests, But most of the Charms That i Used, i got from an Custom Quest with 150 Charms.. But IT still take much time, Until You get an nice Charm. ( sorry, My english is not That good... 🤔)
