The issue is that the story always takes away her moment. Watching the grand magic games was so difficult. Lucy is a very powerful character but it’s things like having characters like flare cheat and make Lucy seem less than she actually is. I just wish that when Lucy had her moments they weren’t overshadowed by plot or another character.
I think the celestial apirits are a nice subversion from the mindless summons we tend to get where in this they act like real people with their own personalities
That's actually what I like about both fairy tail and the elder scrolls games. Both have plenty of areas where summoning is just treated like magic puppetry, and both have plenty of areas where the summons are actually people with their own lives and civilization

You forgot to mention something. If the bond between a Zodiac spirit and there key owner is strong, they can leave a part of there magic with the wizard after the key is destroyed. Lucy used her Aquarius star dress a few times, but the connection was already severed. But this only happened in one point. Meaning, only Lucy and Aquarius are a reference to this phenomenon.
If there's one spirit that could've been used more often it would have to be Caelum. Even though he's a silver key spirit what they could've done with him is if Lucy summons him instead of giving her a dress he turns into a handgun and she can shoot rapid fire lasers. Unlike other star dresses it wouldn't use as much magic. Another spirit that could've been used but would need to be revamped is Plue. Instead of giving her a star dress his key turns into a bracelet that heals the caster as well as whoever Lucy touches. In Yukino's case because she has that 13th gate key instead of it giving her a dress it would turn into a giant sword that gives her powers similar to Rouge.

I love Lucy's character and her magic, she is currently the most versatile character by far and her fights are the most interesting. Good video and I hope that in this next arc we can see another new star dress mix and that in the future Lucy can get the CSK star dress. Lucy is the best ❤❤❤

Just because she prefers to use 3 doesn’t mean anything it just means she doesn’t see fit to use any of her other armors in that moment. Aquarius is Lucy’s most used Star dress but that doesn’t erase the fact that she had Aries which is rarely used

One thing that bugs me is that Capricorn's real magic isn't actually shown. Same goes to Ophiucus. Ophiucus is so mysterious, i think we deserve some backstory as to how Yukino got that key

I think from there we can see she has a villainous nature but then again, the eclipse spirits are all opposites of the original nature. Could she actually be a good spirit naturally? There are so many questions there could be imposed on her origin
I have a question if celestial spirits where based on constellations than does that mean that there is a possibility that there is a Dragon spirit, pegasus and Hercules out there.
I love Fairy Tail, specially Lucy and The Celestial Spirits and their magic. However, it is sometimes frustrating that it wasn't explored to it's full potential (Gemini is underdeveloped , Scorpio only has one attack, Capricorn is barely ever summoned), and some spirits are even used for comedic relief or mocking (Sagittarius *always* being defeated with one measley attack, Virgo being a perv, Aries being...aries,etc) But I love Lucy and the spirits so much I am even making a rewrite (of all of FT but Lucy has a bit more focus), exploring more powers, weaknesses, Star Dress, Ultimates (such as Urano Metria and Gottfried), unison raids. I also plan of making Silver Keys more relevant and battle oriented (what happened to Caelum), and am considering adding Bronze Keys (i'm still unsure if adding other black keys is a good idea, because I still have to work on rewriting Ophiuchus). It's a ton of work, and I don't even think I'll ever publish it because Idk if I can do it justice, but I love FT so much, I just wish it was taken more seriously, by anime fans and Hiro as well...
Love the idea. There is a lot of potential with all the 88 constellations, like Draco the dragon, the fleuve d'etoiles (the extendable whip) is based of the constellation: Eridanus, the river. I feel like Hisui could also pick up some keys and she her debut as a celestial spirit

You know Lucy may be still new by 10 years compared to everyone else but she is the only person to collect 10 gold keys and 5 silver keys making her by far the strongest in the guild she is even stronger in the 100 year quest because she can combine two star dresses at once and strong enough to bring a celestial spirit that was used to summon the celestial spirit king back to aid her with out a key
Magic isn’t much of a pass down thing in fairy tail as u can learn any magic that u want from reading the books and teaching yourself especially celestial spirit magic where as u need a key to even be one
You know what would have been kinda cool to see. What if Lucy’s contract with the clock guy (I don’t even wanna try spelling it) was made so that he can always summon himself with her power if she’s in danger.. that’s basically how it works anyway, but I just wish Lucy had more opportunity to come off as a strategist, because we know she doesn’t get the same power the other three main characters have

I thought I heard that Hiro Mashima declared the anime filler to be canon🤔 and since we see Lucy use Gottfried in the 100 year quest manga, which was only shown in the eclipse arc, this shows that it’s canon. Also Hisui wasn’t shown to be a celestial spirit wizard in the manga and only in the eclipse anime arc iirc, but is seen as a water clone with Yukino using celestial spirit magic when Lucy uses Gottfried which again could only make sense if the eclipse arc is canon

Their gaps are from times I was on vacation or my channel got taken down by strikes I never revisited them as I didn’t have the time to do so and I had to keep going forward with the channel
As much as I love the Celestial Spirits, I feel like some of them a pretty useless. Of all the Zodiac spirits Lucy have only 4-5 are really useful, the rest are just jokes. It's a shame really, cuz I love this concept, and I wish we'd encounter more enemy Celestial Wiards for Lucy to fight so we could see more spirits.
Agreed Even the angel coins tend to be stronger. If they keep to celestial it would be awesome if they introduced othe constellations from other mythologies

Everyone sleeps on Lucy, but the Loki arc showed just how strong she really was because even if for a moment, she summoned every spirit she had.
She had that much potential and she just needed to draw it out through training and practice.

Celestial spirit magic in my opinion seems quite similar to the Ten shadows technique from Jujutsu kaisen
