- A busy couple of hours from 1 to 3pm at Peak Forest with a range of heavy freight trains loading, passing through and reversing to the Cemex sidings.
Apologies for the wind noise on a very breezy March afternoon.
Enjoy the video!
Great video, didn't realise it was quite such a busy area....
Always a good place to spend some time!
A pleasure to watch. Loads of engines working. Thank you for sharing.
Like anywhere there are busy days and quieter days but due to congestion caused by late running passenger services I hit the jackpot for this video!
Awesome images with cargo trains, good work! Thumbs Up
Greetings from Romania

Sub + bell.
Nice video with a lot of class 66's!
Some interesting looking locomotives
Superb location. It’s a pity that the GCR route has been truncated.
I subscribed your channel
It's sad that none of them sound like real trains anymore, more like my vacuum cleaner !!
Hoovers?
@Joshuaevz225 He said they sound like his vacuum cleaner. 50s were hoovers. It was a joke.
👍🏻
Ashburys. 6H52 I know it well.
Lot happening there Norman
Where the DB locos doing all the shunting
Yes a busy couple of hours and the 2 DB locos 66200 and 66206 were doing the shunting. Most of the others came in from the Chinley direction and a couple reversed back into the sidings.
I filmed there on Monday. 66200 and 66206 are still the resident shunters at Cemex. Last year I saw Class 20, 37 and 60 acting as shunters on my visits. The sheds have taken over!
What happened to goods train's why do we have to use American terminologys
Interesting point perhaps the companies should be Goodsliner and GBRg 👍
