Armando Mejia Takara mate I agree, but at the same time the title of the video makes it seem like they’re going into a ‘deep’ analysis of why dimming our screens is crucial haha seems like heaps of people agree with me! But I get your point, I think it’s applicable for both scenarios in this instance
For the screen dim one... I think the idea is to make sure that if you are in the dark or about to sleep, you dim it down to avoid a bad night's rest. If dim is too low during the day, you can't really see the screen and strain your eyes. Also, automatic dimming drains the battery down. I keep it at 50-60% and dim it down when it is too dark.
#2 is True to a degree. Li-Ion batterys don't really like it being charged to a 100%. Over time they loose their capacity faster this way. Charging to only 90 or 95% significantly increases their lifespan. Its also the reason why you don't charge your EV to 100% every night. Thing is, most people won't get by with only 90% battery a whole day. So there is not really a alternative to charging fully.
Bright side " it's a myth that charging your phone overnight damages the battery." Remembers several brightside videos saying " don't charge your phone overnight, it damages the battery and shortens it's life."
@@Nystrixx try charging it between meals. It's better (for your battery) to charge it in a few short bursts than overnight - if it reaches 100% it's fine, it'll stop, but once it goes to 98-99% it starts again and makes some heat which is a problem. If you use your phone between meals... Just make sure it doesn't overheat.
The darker the screen the easier it is on your eyes. Staring at a bright screen can damage your eyes. If you are in a bright location like outside in the sunlight then you should turn up the beightness. But if you are in a pitchblack room then you can turn the brightness all the way down and your eyes will adjust without damaging them.
