  • His owners wanted him to have the very best start to his training and socialisation. During his stay, he learnt how to live with cats without chasing them or barking at them, to interact calmly with children instead of biting, and to respond to obedience cues in a variety of busy environments.
His owners have received hands on training to ensure they can maintain the training started here, as well as video tutorials, a comprehensive training manual and ongoing support whenever they need it

Fair play to you. We went the exact opposite way with our Norfolk and trialed a new approach of no training whatsoever. Needless to say it did not work out well. Absolutely loved the video. Thanks for sharing. I am genuinely puzzled why it does not have views in the millions.

I would have thought in the "after" segment, the cats fur would have grown back

So is it possible for me to have my 1 year old Norfolk trained to be good with cats?

It really depends on your dogs specific issues. Please email us direct: info@Adolescentdogs.com

Definitely just need patience and encouragement! Also let the cats hiss at your Norfolk and just keep an eye out in case they get a bit too feisty, soon enough your fluff ball will learn not to push the cats too far. I managed to introduce a rescue kitty two years after our Norfolk T had become part of the family and very protective of’his’ home/spaces - and to complicate matters he hadn’t had a chance to socialise much as soon after we got him lockdown started. Nowadays they are like siblings, occasionally arguing but very supportive of each other. Only a few days ago Smudge (the cat) had got out into the front garden so Cookie (dog) came to find me and relentlessly pulled, jumped and got my attention to alert me!!! Brilliant work and for once he rightfully barked the house down 😂😂😂!
