Hi Alex, what happens if you got made redundant before the exchange but found a job a week later with more pay? What would be the possibility of still getting a mortgage?
@@alexkerrmortgage I do have one but NatWest was fine with that. Just worried what will be the outcome now, I’ve already sent them the new contract and just waiting for their go ahead. Gutted as I’m due to exchange this week. Do you think the seller would be okay waiting until we have the decision from the underwriter? (How long does it usually take)? Maybe another video suggestion would be, what to do if you have been made redundant after your mortgage offer has been approved/when you’re about to exchange as there’s not a lot of info online.

That should be fine as long as you don’t have probation period ? If you do some lenders are still ok with that.

Great video. I have a 15% deposit and a good job but since I can't register to vote (non-British)? Will this affect my application?
Do you have Indefinite leave to remain or permanent right to reside?
@@alexkerrmortgage i have ILR
You should still be eligible for registration, they'll not allow you to vote in all elections but you should be able to vote for local elections.
