I think all that time you spent on racing lines paid off. The cinematic views showed how good your entries have gotten. Stock AE86 feels smoother for some reason, but that's just me I think. Keep practicing! I love your videos a lot, keep doing what u doing

thank u! will keep switching cars though but yea def tuned/stock for weight transfer practices!

So its fully stock with no tuning i suppose? You're crazy 😵 it has an open differential!!! But it can help you even more to recognize when and how to transition weight to the front i guess.

      What is open differential

@@realTakumifujiwara an open differential allows both rear wheels to spin at different speeds, so that the vehicle can take tight turns easier (the outside wheel needs to spin more than the one on the inside when cornering because it has to move a longer distance) this works well for grip when you're going slow but, an open differential has the issue that it will send all power to the wheel which has less friction, when you start pushing the car it makes it so that 90% of the power goes to the inside wheel, giving you understeer. If one of the wheels on the rear of your car gets stuck in the mud while the other is still touching pavement the one receiving the power will be the one in the mud lol, as a result you don't have enough traction to get out.
The same problem happens when drifting in asphalt. When you step on the gas, the tyre with the most weight on top is the one which needs most of the power, but it will be redirected to the other wheel instead, making you understeer, the power is not enough to continue any kind of drift too, the amount of power the inside wheel gets is limited as it doesn't need much to spin due to reduced friction.

@@realTakumifujiwara if you go settings of the ae86tuned, you can make the differential open by making both differential settings 0%
100%= locked differential, which means both wheels are NOT allowed to spin independently of each other, and they both receive 50% power

@@unlimitedquickworks7387oh i see, thank u for the explanation! Is the stock 86 able to be set to open diffed as well? No wonder it feels grippy on turns and wont flick as easy unless flicked /braked very hard to get it to turn :")

Good idea using the stock 86, I think its much better for you to learn with the stock version before the tuned/drift, this will help you understand the 86 even more aswell as how much tuning affects the handling of a car.
Btw you're cooked lil bro I know the video you were listening to:

HAHAH yes this remix is very good I like it, transitions nicely between songs. I always switch between these cars , mostly I like the drift 86 because i want to learn to countersteer and throttle smoothly, while the stock or tuned have to really aggresive breaking or flip the car to initiate
