I’m 34 and a typical 0-2er with a family and all that and played smash casually. I went to a local and I beat my first opponent and was like hey! This is cool. I then went up against stroder and was absolutely dominated I just laughed the whole set and was like bro how the hell do you do this? The man didn’t even look at me he was in killer mode. I sat there and thought “yeah this is good enough for me” until I saw him on YT and now I cheer for him every time

But! To answer your question, yes it still works. It actually kills a little earlier with the additional knockback, but the window for the confirm is much smaller, 80-85% ish (fluctuates depending on Rage, character weight, which nair hitbox you hit, etc.). So it's turned from a braindead confirm into something you have to plan for.
Fun fact! The strong hit of nair was the only one that was nerfed, so the sour spot (which is the back half of the swing) still combos into up-air from 90-120%, just like old strong hit nair!

The patch just made the knocback higher. So it works but in earlier percentage. The character is still bad tho he needs that
