I had lived in Kelantan for almost 30 years before moving to Selangor 11 years ago. It's been a while since I was in Kota Bharu. Definitely before covid. Your drive along the roads as shown in this video certainly have brought back a lot of memories. Including the sometimes exasperating way some people drive there. Something like Penang Island too at the older roads. Anyway, I had gotten a new Alza a week ago when booking a Grab drive. Kota Damansara to Glenmarie via NKVE. Must say I was quite impressed with the ride. Spacious and comfortable. Very attractively priced too.
tq for the nice review..certainly a better value than the exora.its good to know tht perodua handling is not a kin to the boat ride anymore.hope tht u enjoyed nasi kerabu or nasi berlauk in kota bharu
I'm looking forward soon for uncle to drive Toyota Veloz if it is launched....With extra ground clearance could benefit itself distinctly against Perodua Alza...
The Aruz rides higher, and is rear wheel drive. The Alza, being fwd will be a bit better around the bends, and it is also lower. Alza is also a bit faster in acceleration due to the cvt and fwd
Not advisable - lots of wind noise, affects fuel consumption, and overall stability. If you have the energy to put it on and take it off all the time, then for temporary use it is okay, but most people leave it on all the time.
Kereta baru ada warranty 5 tahun, muatan 7 orang, kereta besar - klau you ta perlu 7 seater, kenapa you tanya? So, klau perlu 7 seater, ta paya binchang, kan? City itu pun kereta baik, tapi tiada ada warranty lagi, harga baru ada tinggi sikit.
When you looking to buy such big car/mpv/suv fuel consumption shouldn't be main concern. MPV all about practicality, seating capacity, storage & safety. This my point of view for those keep asking for fc on this big car.
oof Kelantan, I think quite scary to drive there, the motorcyclist there act like they have 9 lives and they wont slow down from afar if they see you moving out of junctions, they will speed up instead, every year I went back there, I hate driving. Granted, in Penang drivers are equally terrible as Kelantan's motorcyclist

sir, your back ground music is a bit loud and noisy.
@ys khong, not a fair comparison, but your take on Alza vs Ativa ?
Depends on what you need. If you need a 7 seater, .......
@@YSKhongDriving am looking at driving when in town and then a better second hand value before settling for a better unit 😀
I'm looking forward soon for uncle to drive Toyota Veloz if it is launched....With extra ground clearance could benefit itself distinctly against Perodua Alza...
we have to wait until october when it officially launched but for now it's still unknown
@@aimanfitri0iv I will save that
@@shoharasurahim4132 wow that's awesome actually
it would have worst fuel consumption. higher cars suffer worst from aerodynamic and has more drag
But when people buy a vehicle like these, they have a need for the capacity. FC is secondary.
hi, have you feel pulling when in low speed / low gear in D ? because i can feel the gear switch n feel pulling when traffic jam & low speed ..
Leave it in D. If you put it in L, you may feel like that - it's like driving in 1st gear
Mine too, very uncomfortable experience. Tarik~ and then lepas, and keep repeating, very annoying lar..

When Toyota veloz will launching at Malaysia? What is the difference with Alza?
Donno yet.
@@YSKhongDriving since I test drive Alza last month. is it recommended for advanced booking for Veloz?
hi uncle, mind sharing how is this car compared to Aruz in terms of handling and comfortness?

Ke indonesia sudah ada ka alza ni
Kereta ini sama dengan Daihatsu Xenia di Indonesia.
If it has a start/stop feature, that means it is a hybrid..no?
No. It means the engine can switch off and restart when your car is stopped, like at a traffic light, for example. It is a fuel- saving feature.
alza baru dgn honda city tahun 2018 mna lebih sedap di pandu?

would there be a fuel consumption test video 😆
My odo at 3500km still getting 13.7 km/l. Daily drive 50km from house to work, federal road average speed of 80-90km.
@@louieandrofuertes9146ya same city I get 13.2km/l if highway different 17.5km/l
please can we turn off the background music? its so hard to hear what you're saying, Mr Khong.
Alza Dan aruz which better
Alza anytime on performance but Aruz is tougher if on rough roads.
@@YSKhongDriving thank sifu think get aruz but since this need think about it😂
Uncle why no Genting drift for this car?
Stay tuned.
👍
full blast ac

This my point of view for those keep asking for fc on this big car.
Actually the Alza is a budget MPV, and the intending buyers also have concerns about fc, because it affects running costs.
It's the same length as the Vios. Weight too thanks to the DNGA platform. Not a big vehicle
