@@LearningTFT Really appreciate how you always talk about more than the game (psychology, life etc). Really stand out and beats 99% of TFT content creation in my opinion.
Hey Learning, just wanted to drop by to say that I hit GM after many seasons of being stuck at masters 0lp! Thank you for posting all your sessions like this and sharing your thought processes. It really helped expand upon my understanding of the game
@@SleeplessWrestling a major problem with that is the units in this comp is way too contested. Corki, Ekko, GP, Elise are all heavily contested units. So if you slow roll, very good chance that you'll still not going to hit if others are also taking those units. Scrap is very strong. I won a few games with Scrap in master, also bot 4 several more games when i couldn't hit 2 stars carries. I lose 60 - 70 LP for an 8th and get around 40 - 45 LP for a 1st so overall, my LP went down. After being back to 0LP forcing scrap, I have now decided to play whatever I have strong opening instead and had climbed back to 200LP mark. Even scrap can actually be played for win streak by building GP/Cork items and put them on an ad items holder you can 2 star early. This is the only way i would consider playing scrap now.
whats your take on sorcs average placement going DOWN when you add sorc placement, regardless of what other filters you apply? Is it actually a wasted augment or is there something funky going on like people forcing sorcs when they see it (or even going 8 sorcs because they dont read patch notes)
@@Crovea I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Sorc emblem actually performs worse than black rose emblem though. Hitting 5 black rose gives sorcs so much more time to burst down the enemy team with the Sion revive.
Corki giga contested , comp giga contested and weak early game yea no it was the best last patch when no one played it . With +1 scrap emblem is another story
Not just corki. GP is contested by several comps like Urgot reroll, Swaim + Nami reroll, Ekko is contested by ambusher and by fireflight Zeri. Rumble is hard to hit by itself and is contested by almost everyone. Even the support units like Elise, Vi are also heavily contested by other comps. I had gone first a few games with Scrap but also had bot 4 several times, the comp is not consistent to "just force".
@@theteamxxx3142 yep, it's like set 12 kalista at its peak. You really need econ augment at 2-1 to beat out all the contesting players. Ideally, you can push L8 and roll one round before everyone else.
Best TFT channel out there, also crazy how you guys are 4 months ahead with 14.4 discussion

What an excellent channel, love the intros, very motivational
Thanks, Dominus. I appreciate it!

@@Chris-vg1xm hey Chris, congrats on hitting GM! I'm glad you've found the videos helpful. 👊🏼
Scrap might be strong but too contested. Which make it very unenjoyable to try to force.
@@thanhdohuu9473 true. You really need econ to get there faster than others. It really reminds me of set 12 kalista when it was heavily contested.
just econ better

@ rolling 50 gold > rolling 30 gold, you get luckier the more opportunities

Hey, what's the app you are using to take notes?
@@MarcinKlocek-e1s roam research
Obsidian is another really good notes app, especially for TFT since the notes can be very messy
