Fun fact. The Laozi quote is a mistranslation (and a very common one). The real quote is “a journey of a thousand miles begins under one’s feet”. It is not about initiative, it is saying the foundation for what might happen (achievement) is what is already the case. Hope this helps
i hope the quotes reminded you of what a strong "tft tree" you're planting and taking care of. it not only helps you, but many other players like myself. thank you for all the videos!!
I think you overestimate the size of 1 horse and underestimating how much in quantity 100 duck size creatures are. Since a horse is ~20 times larger than a duck, the horse is getting 5x its combat stats. Unless you have a plan for good AOE you are going to struggle against the horses much more than the duck
I'd be interested in your thoughts on practice effect when analyzing patch-by-patch stats. How much of Smeech's -0.7 comes from people practicing him more? And how to measure that? I thought of a solution: take ~100 challenger players's main accounts, and their most played/least played units. Take the difference in AVP between (for example) Elise mains, and non Elise mains over the course of a season/patch. The average delta should tell us how much bigger a change in AVP needs to be in order to be significant? Although players who spend the last few days of each cycle on PBE, practicing the new patch will mess up the experiment... I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.
@@freeloguy3387 the way I figured it out is by tracking the avp over time. The play rate has risen and the avp has decreased. That's a sign of players practicing and getting better at the line. Usually, as play rate rises, the avp falls since it's more contested (eg twitch).
Hey for augments that gives you hp like investment strategy or the one where u get stats for bot 4, does it only apply to unit that stay on the board for the whole game not like unit that just got add onto the board
Also i realised that if i roll for camille i fall off but if i go fast 8 for ekko + garen i do decent, so the stats that people does not know to play the comp is possibly true, good to know though bro keep up the content🎉. 100 duck sized horse pls
how do you consistently hit 3 star 3 costs when playing reroll? i feel like its so hard to hit stuff like kog 3 or smeech 3 when playing comps like these that being said, i dont have that much experience with reroll comps and mostly just play stuff like fast 8
okay so ideally you want to slow roll on the level that is preferred for your reroll comp. however most of the time you need to stabilize your board first and to do this you need to roll pretty deep or until you can find two star copies of the units that you need once you reach the round that you're supposed to start rolling for that unit (3-1, 3-2, 3-5). after rolling as much as it is necessary you can econ back up and start slow rolling. the big problem with reroll is that if you don't stabilize your board you will bleed out too much HP and you won't be able to find the three star unit that you need. the other thing is that if you can't find your unit by a certain point which varies depending on your reroll comp you need to roll all your gold and hope that you hit the unit, however hopefully with all the extra hp you don't need to roll all your gold and try to econ back up again in order to push levels. hope this helped
@@dthlight this. For 3-cost reroll, an econ encountered or econ augment helps. And you usually want to roll deep to hit your main carry two stars at 3-5 with 3 items ideally. That'll let you stabilize so you can rebuild your economy and slow roll. The tricky part is to know when to send it before you get too low HP to maximize your odds of hitting your 3-star unit(s).
I think y'all are underestimating how fragile horses legs are. Equines are made with them being the largest creatures in the ecosystem in mind. Their skeletons are not strong relative to size. Ducks are also much more aggressive, due to being a much smaller creature relative to their ecosystem. There's also an omnivore vs herbivore discussion. Equine are dangerous BECAUSE of their size. Avians are dangerous DESPITE their size. Its 100 duck sized horses anyday.
@LearningTFT yes, if you don’t have ambusher, having chem 300 cashout helps with rolling Smeech quite a lot. You can also count on 2* or even 3* renni to “skip” rolling past 32g at lvl 8

15:30 i played ambusher a lot and I always doubt if ambusher really wants more crit chance, as the conversion rate to crit damage is only 50%
@@anguslum9561 good point! I noticed I'm getting smeech to 100% crit often, so any extra is somewhat wasted compared to other stats we can get.

If it says for your team, then it's for future units too. If it says for your units, then only units on board get the benefit, not future units added.
