- IESU E LO'U ALII, O A'U AGASALA. was written out of the Psalm Of David (Psalm 51) and I too made some really bad choices that I felt so empty and lonely at the time when I wrote this song. This song was originally recorded by the Hallelujahs around the mid-80s.
But my son Roy-Evans rearranged the Music and I was so blessed to sing and record it in my humble Home -Studio.
One of my friends in his younger days shared with me his true testimony
about this song, he became a Pastor and he is now gone to be with the Lord🙏❤️
I'm not going to mention his name but I'm going to share the story he told me.
Around the 80s in the early days of his journey with the Lord, he too went through some dark times and he felt that God forsook him, so he made up his mind that he was going to take his life driving the car over the cliff. He was living in Pago Pago American Samoa at the time. While he was in tears and driving from Nu'uuli towards Pago, he turned on the radio and this song was playing, he said he felt the Spirit of God telling him to repent, so he turned off the car and went down the beach, kneeled to God, and repented.
In 2022, we met again and he encouraged me to go back to write and record more gospel songs.
Not long after that, he passed away and went to be with the Lord. ❤️☝️☝️🙏.
I pray this song will bring healing and hope to your heart whoever listens to it.❤️❤️😍🙏🙏🙏.
I also dedicated this song to my late Pastor friend who passed away 2023.
