Just to inform you guys, he doesn't have to press every single button, my dad works for Qatar Airways and when I'm flying somewhere I'm always in a cockpit. The autopilot is doing completely everything for him, except when he is landing, the he has to straight plain to the runway. But yeah, love you Spencer, keep doing amazing job! Peace guys
Typical misunderstanding of the role of a pilot and the function of the autopilot. The autopilot is not doing everything the pilot is flying the aircraft through the autopilot. This is because it is incredibly capacity sapping to be hand flying especially for long periods of time. Using the autopilot enables the pilots to see the bigger picture, the autopilot can only do basic stuff, it can’t think for itself and a similar analogy is using cruise control to keep a constant speed on the motorway. The First Officer was joking when he said he had to press every button, I think that was pretty obvious.

Awesome! My family and I have just done a road trip through California as well! We did Vegas, Yosemite (which was insane!), San Fran, Carmel and Santa Monica! We didn't do Napa Valley so can't wait to see what its like in the video! Enjoy guys, you deserve it!

I've done a very similar US trip to your one, first San Fransisco (where I biked the golden gate bridge and went to alcatraz) and then went to Napa Valley
