Preserve the drone at all costs. Those shots are unreal. I love the look and feel of this channel. I will be following for your entire journey. I see big things ahead for this channel.
So happy to have found your channel! As i'm a big fan of Ichy Boots too your channel got suggested to me in my feed. RUclips's algorithm doing great work there and i'm sure your channel will pick up traction. The droneshots are epic, please be carefull with the drone ;) I'll follow you along your journey and will watch every episode, Good luck!
Getting a specific off-road focused course will definitely make for a good episode, and you'll be all the better off for it. At least I'd definitely watch lol. Remember we're not watching your adventures on the road but the entire process of you becoming a better rider and your highs and lows!
I think if you make it through Canada and the US you will have all the experience you can get and need. I am impressed already. For a new rider you are doing just fine.
I found Noraly's Itchy Boots channel for myself in the middle her previous season and have been watching so far. Great to see her on the new season after the injury again. I always thought to go back and see her previous seasons as well, especially the start. But I mean, that far down the road, that's an effort. So, I'm particularly glad to have caught your channel so early on in it's starting days (I guess 7 episodes in since I just found you today and this is the last episode available). I must say, the beginning was a bit awkward but somehow you got your gear in (definitely pun intended :)) and last some episodes since you got on the road just flew by. Hoping to see much more cool places to come. Glad to accompany you virtually on your travels and I wish you all the best, lots of more cool people and deep conversations and safety and happiness. Greetings from Estonia. PS. Would be cool to hear more about the "behind the scenes" bits on how you do, when something is happening (timeline), perhaps hear more about your thoughts about things as you go along. Just suggestions/interest but definitely a good watch as it is now. :)
You passed the overland travel rule number 1, always take the opportunity to stop for fuel, even if it is just a top up! Hi from UK, new subscriber looking forward to following your journey. All the best, Richard
We’re here along with you on this trip. Remember to always keep your calm and that everything will line out. You’re off to a great start and looking forward to this adventure.
I have watched your other channel for a very long time I was very excited to see your new channel pop up in my feed. I can't wait to see how this journey progresses.
I recognised you're running DMD2 on the tablet. If you press the "lock screen" button (middle one of the group of 3 in the upper right area) will provide more map space. In addition you can get rid of the unused "+"-marked space holders on the right side. Enjoy your adventure and greetings from Germany, Bernd
Since you are an international traveller and my English is definately far away from native, I am commenting in my language - Eric, du hast einen neuen Fan. Deine Reisepläne klingen sehr vielversprechend und ich bin begeistert von dem, was ich bisher von dir gesehen habe. Danke fürs mitnehem auf deine great spiral 🌀
And here I am stuffing my face watching someone doing adventure... and look at my bike and I can kinda hear myself saying "do it" LMAO. This is going to be an awesome series man :D
Hey Eric! Yep, pretty crazy idea that I am very envious of!! But I will be watching! So far, so good. I am really enjoying so far and eagerly anticipating your progress!
Eric, i am following Itchy Boots 😂since 2 years and now i will follow you too. I wish you a very good and nice adventure. I am from Belgium and every year I am travelling in Europe on my on and I dream to do what you do. Good luck, be carefull and send us your videos like you do it. I realy enjoy.
I'm glad I got the youtube suggestion and watched all from the start, now I'm hooked. Keep it up and get some rest too. Till the next upload..can't wait.
Same here, great to be in at the beginning, and agree to see more of what goes on .... I do have a feeling you really don't like your drone lol. Looking forward to see if you manage to keep it till the end 😂. So looking forward to watching this to the end. Good luck and enjoy.
Your Log is Great! I often think (dream) about doing a trip like this and your chaneel is helping me think through whether or not I can survive it. All the best!!! GreaseNinja
Good to see that the lessons taught and learned online by Itchy Boots are working fine and just happy to see and know that she is a good teacher too, and you are the perfect and sincere student ! And if you are doing it on your own without taking her class online then you are simply Great! Full credit goes to you too for adopting the things and putting them to work perfectly. Take it from me that soon there will be another Eric who will start the similar long-world tour on bike like you and will say Una Moto is my inspiration. I liked your way of respecting your idols by naming them the maps after their names. Your Channel will surely going to grow like anything !!! Another different thing we all will learn, see and enjoy is your camping and you will make your this tour in half of the expenses Itchy Boots do, coz of the camping outdoor, which you can do and doing it right. Dont worry, practice makes it perfect. Your drone shots are looking fantastic. SUBSRIBED !
Found your intro vid on BCPOV this morning and I’m catching up on all of your episodes to get current. This channel is right in my wheelhouse. Can’t wait to see where it takes you.
With great respect to your vision and aims with your travels I'd think three times before you commit to traversing Australia. Ask Noraly why she has never returned after working for some years in the outback. The country is exceedingly dangerous anytime of year. Lots of creepy crawlers, and the people can be sketchy, city or bush. Probably the most over-governed country in the world, to boot. Wish you well; your channel is already watchable and quite addictive!
Really enjoying the new channel Eric! Your video skills are excellent, especially the drone shots! Love the explanations about where you are. You're doing such a great job and I am looking forward to the rest of the trip! Safe travels!
Just wanna say, I've watched the other video and the best part was where you hiked along the side of lake on foot to retrieve your drone! Glad that you found it. The footage were awesome and breathtaking! Worth the risk to rescue it!
Love your new journey! I too ride both mountain bikes and motorcycles. I hope to do a trip around the world too. Can’t wait see what this adventure holds for you. Just curious why you haven’t put a video up on your other channel telling the 426k subs what you are doing. I’m sure many would want to follow. Good luck!!
Hey, i'm watching you from Cologne, Germany. Wish you all the best, have a safe and nice trip - i'm follow you 🙂 (Sometimes the youtube algorithms brings up something special - and this is special)
If you like free camping you would love Scandinavia, all of the land everywhere is free for wild camping unless it’s farmed land or adjacent to private property. Just set up your tent and don’t destroy nature and you’re good. Freedom to roam is a wonderful right few in the world have.
Cheering for you here,in Ireland,go for it, I'm riding 50 years,I was never bored! good choice of bikes, light and reliable,if I may give any advice,is know your machine and how to repair it, change your oil early, say every 5000klm.... good luck!
Beautiful adventure already! Looking forward to all that is yet to come, your doing brill, hope you enjoy your challenges and experience as much as enjoy watching.
Hey Eric, I have a question! Are you finished and already back home and editing this?! How far forward in the future are you now, than you were when you explored that abandoned town? I imagine B.C. being covered in snow right now. Or are you somewhere in Asia with five months of footage?
Gorgeous land 😍 I would love to explore and never go back !!! If you ever cross crazy Ger-many please stop by, we life in tiny woods in comparison ... follow you !
Wow! Mega production quality! Not your first rodeo. No shame in being influenced by ItchyBoots when you have a back catalog like BCpov. Good luck on your journey and safe travels.
Eric what is that thing ur wearing on ur chest is it the camel pack straps? Brilliant scenery, I'm really enjoying this adventure. Ur narration and filming is great, thanks for sharing 👍💜
New subscriber here. Really enjoying your videos, and adventures. Thanks for the content, so jealous wishing I could tag along on a Bike 😂 Take Care and wishing you the best on your trip Eric🤘
You are going to have a great adventure and l look forward to following along. Are you planning posting new videos at a set time or just whenever you get a chance along the road.
Here for the ride (pun intended). New follower, and have come across your video by mistake, and started from #1. Some feedback to help you grow along your journey Eric: The music choice is OKish, but I am sure you will develop your style as you go. The one thing I find hard to consume is the music being too loud while you are talking. Possibly the wrong choice of music while talking. Great to see your unusual choice of bike for such a long journey. Now, when you are planning your journey through Australia, I would highly recommend you do the Great Ocean Road, take the ferry from Melbourne and go to Tasmania, you will see some of the most beautiful and oldest forests in the world, some stunning scenery, and roads made for your adventure. Then continue through to South Australia, head down South and cross with the Ferry to Kangaroo Island. This island is made for your journey.
Those fuel tanks and rally front end are sweet! The main reason I went with a CRF300L Rally over a KLX was the fuel range and wind protection but you've solved that. My Rally with the Camel ADV tank holds roughly the same amount of fuel as this setup. I'm scared to ask how much that kit cost. Looking forward to watching your journey.
Nice videos you are producing. Maybe I am wrong but it looks like the bike does not have crash bar protection around the fuel tanks. Could that be a problem down the road?
Damn, Eric, you sure know how to use that drone for spectacular shots!....and I just saw the point where you almost lost it again, lol. Be careful, dude! Lol.
Greetings from Germany. Thanks for taking us with you on that TRIP OF A LIFTIME. WOW Big Heart you have!! You should considere to get yourself some Motocross Goggles. Will help your Eyes. Due to your half opend Visor you produce a airflow tords your Eyes. Sorry for my poor English. Trying my best! HAve a WONDERFUL Tour and meet wonderful people!
Good content. Loving the videos. Not sure if your journey is taking you thru New York or where you are on your journey but I do the riding you are doing and would be more than happy to send you gpx files of some routes thru New York and I have some thru northern Pennsylvania . Good luck on your journey looking forward to more content.
Watched BCPOV and glad to see you’ve stretched out into ADV riding- another pastime of mine (r1200gs). Hot meal and bed here in Pennsylvania if you need it on your way through.
Great video and story Eric. Glad your drone is ok. Looking forward to following you on your journey. I noticed you’re using a dmd2. Is it the dedicated phone or tablet and are you liking it? Thanks 🙏🏻
Feels good to be along for journey from the beginning. Maybe add an Instagram so we can be more up to date with your mini-posts than we would be with the edits. It’ll help you be in a place to receive more trail-magic too since your viewers could message you. 😊
Good luck brother!! Im planning a similar trip starting from Greece, but going through China. Have you find a way down to Australia? With all these islands and ports it's pretty confusing. I'll keep watching your videos, stay safe.
This channel is going to explode. Great story, adventure, and excellent film work.
I was thinking the same thing! I'm excited to follow this adventure.
Preserve the drone at all costs. Those shots are unreal. I love the look and feel of this channel. I will be following for your entire journey. I see big things ahead for this channel.
It's nice to see you back and so happy in yourself
This video was recommended after watching an episode of Itchy Boots. Thanks for taking us with you on your trip!
She's the best!
@@Una_Moto We all love Noraly!
Omg that creepy basement. Was waiting for the Blair Witch Project moment...
I love how humble you are when talking to people. Just heading up north it a tad of an understatement
As someone who truly loves mountain biking and motorcycles, I’m really enjoying this new channel! I’m hooked!
I'm blown away by the footage... and to think that you're still in your backyard Eric 🇨🇦
So happy to have found your channel! As i'm a big fan of Ichy Boots too your channel got suggested to me in my feed. RUclips's algorithm doing great work there and i'm sure your channel will pick up traction.
The droneshots are epic, please be carefull with the drone ;)
I'll follow you along your journey and will watch every episode, Good luck!
Thanks so much! Haha, that drone has been through a lot!
That was fun to ride along with you, and the ghost town was particularly interesting. Your country looks very beautiful.
Getting a specific off-road focused course will definitely make for a good episode, and you'll be all the better off for it. At least I'd definitely watch lol. Remember we're not watching your adventures on the road but the entire process of you becoming a better rider and your highs and lows!
That's what I figured too! I should be pretty decent by the time i get to NZ!
Maybe someone out there wants to promote their course..
I think if you make it through Canada and the US you will have all the experience you can get and need. I am impressed already. For a new rider you are doing just fine.

She's pretty amazing! Thanks for watching!

We’re here along with you on this trip. Remember to always keep your calm and that everything will line out. You’re off to a great start and looking forward to this adventure.
Takes a week or two too get your ride fitness up but you’re doing good rubber down and smile up 😊
I have watched your other channel for a very long time I was very excited to see your new channel pop up in my feed. I can't wait to see how this journey progresses.
Stoked you found me!
Ill be following along with you on the spiral tour. Please show us more about your bike mods especially the tank. Thank you and have a great time.
