This MGS 2 stream was quite something else First we had to go through the whole drama between Raiden and Rose and how both of them have some of their screws lose, mainly Raiden though. And we got one of the most chaotic moments ever to happen trying to escort Emma that resulted in almost shooting her, flipping her over, and nearly chocking her to death. For the Emma combat alert section, Pomu actually did pretty decently to fight what's supposed to be a really punishing penalty, and for her first time fighting to many enemies. She was quick and aggressive to fire, and did try different things like flash grenades and trying to drag Emma. And the post-harrier platforming section still makes me laugh today. It's so gold.

I feel like I’ve only watched Rose’s codec conversations once, and always skipped them on subsequent playthroughs. So I probably only watched that scene my first time when I was 12.

Holy crap that ending... Did we all huff huff some Pomu Leaf or did that actually happen? Pomu takes the already crazy levels of the Kojimaverse and amplifies it with her own chaos. What a rush! I hope Pomu's opinion of Raiden improves a little bit after the next stream. It doesn't have to of course, she's entitled to think however she wants. I've just seen so many people over the years not give his character a chance, not looking past his "whiny attitude", "rookie behavior", or his interactions with Rose (it's all explained at the end of the game, and it's up to the player to empathize with him or not). I think he's great, personally. He's hot too. Like, come on now.
I used to hate the part with Emma, I hated escort missions. Until Resident Evil 4. Pretty much the whole game is an escort mission and I love it. If Ashley wasn't around, I legit missed her. The exact opposite of how I felt when I started the game. Now I don't even notice escort missions really.
A shame I couldn't catch the Vamp fight live, I woulda mentioned that if you shoot the bullet holes in his head and torso, you deal double damage. In fact, his dance at the start of the fight can be exploited for an easy bullethole headshot. oh, and that chucking 'nades in the water immediately forces him to surface. And shooting out the lights completely kills his ability to use the shadow knife technique.

And we got one of the most chaotic moments ever to happen trying to escort Emma that resulted in almost shooting her, flipping her over, and nearly chocking her to death. Probably one of the most hilarious thing to have ever happened poor Pomu though had to go through so much stress and chaos for it lol

I swear my first time escorting Emma out of the core ended in pandemonium and many redos, props to Pomu for doing it one go
For the Emma combat alert section, Pomu actually did pretty decently to fight what's supposed to be a really punishing penalty, and for her first time fighting to many enemies. She was quick and aggressive to fire, and did try different things like flash grenades and trying to drag Emma.
And the post-harrier platforming section still makes me laugh today. It's so gold.

I hope Pomu's opinion of Raiden improves a little bit after the next stream. It doesn't have to of course, she's entitled to think however she wants. I've just seen so many people over the years not give his character a chance, not looking past his "whiny attitude", "rookie behavior", or his interactions with Rose (it's all explained at the end of the game, and it's up to the player to empathize with him or not). I think he's great, personally.

I used to hate the part with Emma, I hated escort missions. Until Resident Evil 4. Pretty much the whole game is an escort mission and I love it. If Ashley wasn't around, I legit missed her. The exact opposite of how I felt when I started the game. Now I don't even notice escort missions really.

A shame I couldn't catch the Vamp fight live, I woulda mentioned that if you shoot the bullet holes in his head and torso, you deal double damage. In fact, his dance at the start of the fight can be exploited for an easy bullethole headshot.
oh, and that chucking 'nades in the water immediately forces him to surface. And shooting out the lights completely kills his ability to use the shadow knife technique.
