A punk version of this Irish classic doesn't really work for me. Good musicianship, and well arranged and recorded, but the passion and sentiment of the song gets lost amongst the big sound that's been created here. Well done for having a new take on this song. Love and peace.
I think different versions of the song can bring out different emotions. The more classic way can bring out sorrow while a more punk-rock version can bring out anger.
@@Murph_gaming I agree. There is a lot to be angry about. I get it. I was a punk rocker in the 70's when I was angry. Anger is good. Music is the best way to express your true feelings. Anger needs to be balanced with compassion. Love and peace.
