Jake One prolly the illest with Gospel samples! Word!
Miliano Supreme i swear to god!
Miliano Supreme Do you know the exact sample?
***** or Digi Hendrix 3000..
lol.. me tbh lol.. i like to produce as well. not famous or anything tho lol.. check my page sometime very random selection of beats and remixs.
***** he nasty too bro!
this guy is a fuckin genius ~ no matter what the fuck he is doin, his shit sounds perfect !!!
This guy is the best at making live sounding drums.
He samples live drums lmaaoo
@@sloppy1hundred obviously hes talking about how jakes drum beats sound rhythmically, not how the drum samples sound sonically. lmaaoo
@@STANLEY2BRICKS Clearly right? No malice though..the internet does what it does.
Being an upcoming female producer Jake One really inspires me.
that piano sounds like the same one he used on drake s furthest thing dope af!
Smh if I were to make a beat just like this one I'd probably get no kind of love. People now a days have no appreciation for type of work a producer has to put in. Jake one is known to make incredible beats without having to add so many tracks in. On the other hand you have producers now a days putting in all kind of crazy sounds just too get some type of attention or support.
True
i love these videos
Great job as always! Was that a hardware SSL Channel strip?
Morris Kramer yup
Did not know he did this beat. One of my favorite songs off of the album.......
that bassline man.... how!?
This is so fire
That mac dre bobble head! One love jake 1 from nor cali.
Please do a breakdown of "limitless" by wale jake

THAT BASSLINE THOOOO!!! Love watching these videos, reminds me sound selection is key!
Damn. Not even 13K? People sleepin'. As I was.
hands down my favorite producer. Your ASR game is ridiculous! Keeping Hip Hop Alive with every Jake One Produced Record!
"Thank You Biggie" and "What I Tell My Kids" are my favorites off the album. His flow goes so smooth over you're beats it honestly take me back to 90's west coast hip hop but with a modern twist to it. Love what you guys are doing.
jake one continues to prove why he's one of the best in the business
Damn Jake. LOL! This is cold. One of my favorites.
Thank you Jake Uno I've been needing one of these for a minute
dom kennedy is one of my favorite artists ever. surprised jake one did these beats for him. very fucken dope
dude can you do some behind the beats vids for the tuxedo album, i love that shit so much!
Hey Jake nevermind Pro Tools come into Presonus Studio One! I understand maintaining the integrity of the ASR and you can do this in Studio One. My style combines the oldschool and the contemporary as well and Studio One is becoming the new standard while Pro Tools is on it's way out.....
why would he? lol... he's already made classics, gotten placements, made money... what can you tell him? rotfl... too funny.
Lol I feel you, But to put my comment in context(which I see you missed)it wasn't about telling him anything as if he ain't already that dude, clearly he at some point decided to evolve passed just the asr,all I was saying was being a Producer myself there are newer and upcoming things out here that are slowly replacing the standards, if he was in the mind set of checking out new shit(like most of us producers tend to do) other than what he had been doing then Studio One is fuckin dope! worth checking out when you're lookin for new inspiration...
shoulda gave this beat to someone else smh
Liked before watching
Hey Jake Try Studio One .. It's insane n crazy easy. I come from a ASR so I'm qualified to say that Sample One in Studio One is the same concept. Impact drum machine in S1 is as easy as drag n drop drums to the pads..Chopping a sample is as easy as recording it in or dragging it in then using the slice tool. Highlight all your slices then drag to one pad and it places all the slices on different pads.. Find out what I'm talking bout..Peace

I come back to this every couple months, one of my fav vids from you and fav beats in general
why can't I play basslines like that wtf
anyone know the sample? Im not trying to remake. I just love how jake takes sample in flips ems. i just wanna know how the originals sound
Another dope beat from such a great producer!
One of the best of all time, much respect. peace
super awesome once again!
Yo jake thank you! Seriously thought my favorite music of all time was dead. I've been listening to old shit and underground for so long , too scared to hear what the present thinks hop is! Been a fan for years but recently heard that shit u did w Danny brown and the sample loop by Portugal the man. I was like why am I only hearing this now! Reminded me of high school shit w tapes n Walkmans . Love it I'm 32 now . Thanks my dude!
Just listened the Dom's album. The warmness hits you in first 3 seconds and you know straight it's Jake One on the beat! Much respect from Finland! Keep it sample.
yo jake where can i get some good basses like the ones you be using
buy his kits... Google search them.
nah i already found a solution.....a real bass guitar
that noise is kinda annoying, jake best as always ! big up
someone needs to post an instrumental for this song.
You need to keep making more and more pro-tools and maybe incorporate some signal pulse engine shit in there cause when you use pro-tools, you hit this sweet spot i don't hear often enough from you. That intro is simply beautiful.
D O P E
you can tell that he studied yeezy and just blaze very very well
can someone speak on beat mixing? as well as editing with pro tools
Bruh i could only imagine if u used a real beatmaking daw like Ableton
this beat is so so similar to furthest thing but extremely good as always
+snare Jordan limitless by wale please
Where can i get that hat tho?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wish i could use pro tools like this dude. ive trued and its frustrating for hip hop
can you make a video of how you did the Stimulus outro by Freeway? I listened to 'How loves hurts' by the Sylvers hundreds of times and it perplexes me how you made that beat!
King David wouldn't be surprised if he had a multi track of it
I need to know what u sample. Greatness.
Yea jake in my top 5 rn
Send it right on to me with your signature on it....
Whats that loud humming?
Darren Brandon Your either reffering to the bass or sample
+That Guy no not in the song Just in the background of the main video
+1301407gl im guessing its the feedback or something from the speakers
Hope you keep making these videos Snare Jordan
love the bassline
fav part of the beat is how there are no hi hat rolls
Great! unique sound!
Finally!!! It's been a while.
Finally! Where yall been
love the process of ur beats
All praise to jake one!!!
So Dope!
Pro tools brings a whole new twist to your sound jake, dope !
I'm an FL studio man myself mate so iv had the great DAW discussion many of times in my day I tell ya. You're 100% percent right though they all do the same as, I just meant that jake working on a DAW in general is bringing a whole new twist
Fiyahhhh
i need that bassline
Bassline is amazing
Wheres that bass from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder If i create that sound with a moog
The asr 10 baseline
now you can Google asr bass samples and download via torrent... too easy... then drop filters or vst effects on them... experiment. take the gloves off and break some rules. it's sound design.
How does he make it look so easy? I have so much respect for Jake One.
MmBuddha Pratice and a great ear.
it really IS quite easy... plus he's been doing it for YEARS!!!
The Teacher !
good job
Respect
Too Dope!
He said "beat off." 😑
Wtf is that synth? Shit changed the game.
How you find all these dope gospel samples?
Crate digging for life my dude! Peep some flea markets, real record stores .
calibomber209 Yeah I gotta upgrade my collection
dig in the gospel section at your local vinyl shop... orrrrrr Google search old spiritual or gospel records.
I dont understand how people put drums on a record without banging pads... Ill never get that.. Dope beat though
The pads are just samplers. You can do the same with a midi piano or you can add the drums on the daw
Tune, my favourite beat from him.
