Hi followed your advice and cleaned out both filter and pump, removed collar stiffener but unfortunately my bosch washing machine is not turning(agitating)or spinning, what should i do next please. The video was very informative and I did this all without any help at all. Please help??
Bosch Axxis washers have a structural defect in the armature that is made of a composite alloy that had a faulty design. It was prone to cracking from the stress exerted by the torque of the spin cycle. This crack did not cause the spin cycle to fail, but, it did cause a slow leak in the back drum of the Axxis washer. This slow leak caused detergent and lint to aggregate in the back of the struts where they accumulated the most disgusting mold growth you can imagine. This mold caused several failures to vulnerable areas of the Axxis Bosch 800 Series washer. For example, the brushes on the motor would accumulate particulate from the mold and fail. The boot that forms the seal for the washer door would accumulate and manifest black mold. Mold would infest the wash of the clothes in the Bosch washer. The cross struts that reinforce the armature would still hold together after the cracking and leaking. So other problems with this washer pointed to the boot rubber, and other materials - but the culprit was usually the underlying flaw in the struts. The kicker is that unless two or three struts failed and cracked, the bearings would hold up, although the spin cycle would start to get incrementally louder. Somewhere along the line, someone in Bosch caught on to the flaw. But, like most corporations, they seemed to have taken the morally disgusting way out - SAY NOTHING, DO NOTHING, AND HOPE IT WILL ALL GO AWAY. What they did do, however, is change the design of the armature so that it is basically thicker, stronger, and seemingly made from a stronger alloy. The attorneys and other parasites who have made a tidy living suing Bosch at great profit, but little clarity or satisfaction for their consumers have done nothing whatever to shed light on this problem. Bosch- unless I've missed something somewhere, hasn't either. When the bearings on your washer go, you cannot miss it. It sounds like a helicopter in your laundry room, crashing. But, Bosch and a number of its warranty companies frequently refuse to repair tub and bearing failures. Surprise. Basically, any one of half-a-dozen serious other problems can result as indirect symptoms of this underlying problem. Only a forensic engineer would really be in a position to diagnose the problem, because you have to take a machine completely apart to get to the back of the tub where the cracked armature can be observed, along with the disgusting mold and filth that a cracked tub will accumulate. That defect will destroy your clothes, and it can adversely affect your health, but, the folks at Bosch are hoping that you will address it in the traditional consumer society way and buy a new washer.

Hi, we are having trouble removing the pulley nut to even inspect the bearings. We even tried a hammer on the wrench to loosen nut in counter-clockwise direction. I called Bosch and they said, "The rotor torque locked, necessary auxiliary tool needed for that model." Is this something you have heard anyone run into? Model: Bosch Axxis WAS20160UC/23 Suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, my Bosh Classixx 1400 Express washing machine is making an awful noise as shown in the video ruclips.net/video/M0R_e0_aDKM/видео.html Do you think it is something simple like the belt needs replacing? I have replaced a belt on previous washing machines so I could order a new belt and fix it myself.
And if its the circuit board you are well and truely screwed cos the control board alone is over $700 Aus. Or the equivalent in pounds. In my case it is the circuit board and after a year of nobody wanting to even look at fixing the board I am now about to do it myself. Its a LED driver cost $7.00 from China. I hate the throw away attitude of this new world. Micro soldering and hot air soldering but i am not willing to chuck away an $1100 machine for a small cheap component.
Colin Riley Hi Colin, may I ask you more details on the PCB repair please? I've got a Bosch Maxx 800 washer, I've replaced motor brushes which were absolutely worn, pump impellor is clear & working. It keeps stopping on the rinse cycle. If I switch it off at the wall, open & close the door, it will finish cycle. So I've determined it's the PCB. Any assistance greatly appreciated! Ken.

Except it starts spinning and then almost immediately gives up...!

K Rutherford I can solder!, I've got solder station, solder sucker, etc..
Hi, Colin, I'm in the same boat with a Bosch Classixx. I don't want to be a high amount for a new PCB board.
How did you go?
