@@discover3432A fellow Southeast Asian myself, an Indonesian-we barely have classical masters, let alone have late/post-Romantic composers! We have folks like Amir Pasaribu or Jazeed Djamin, which are barely known by the general population... nonetheless, contributing not many to exciting repertoires or notable mentions to showcase to the world.
Perhaps I might make another audio + sheet music video of Filipino piano pieces, only if they're abundant! But, please, if you see other sheet music, please call me. I'm terribly anxious to know other pieces as beautiful as this. And thank you very much for subscribing, Kuya. Please tune in to my channel. More audio + sheet music videos to come. :D
I have the music sheet of Aliwan by Francisco Buencamino for Piano 1 but it has marks by my piano teacher from years ago. Sa UP Conservatory ata nanggaling yung scores.
this is a treasure not just for the Filipino composers and pianists but also to all Filipino citizens. Hope to see more. Its actually rare to watch this kind of video (Audio + Sheet music) of Filipino composers. It's so nice to listen and analyze the flow of the music at the same time. thanks for this upload! ^_^
My favorite Buencamino pieces are "Harana" (Serenade), "Maligayang Bati" (A Happy Greeting), and "Hawig-Hawig" (Variations on a Theme). Unfortunately I haven't seen any good recordings of these three pieces.
Keith Amores You don't need the manuscript but except the modern clean one. Manuscripts are harder to read especially that most of the composers have bad note hand writing.
My great Grand Uncle.
he doesn't even have a wiki page dedicated to him, how sad. he's such a great talent.

Cecile Licad.. the one and only
This piece is so hard the chordal progression the scales, arpeggios takes years to master this piece.

Oh, OK, you're referencing the 2017 MMFF movie entry. Really, I want to see it, though. XD
Dang, I really want to learn music theory and compose something like this. 😢
SYA YATA UNG BALIMBING SA MOVIE HEN. LUNA.
Hindi po. Pero dahil pareho po silang taga San Miguel, Bulacan, magka angkan po siguro.
Magkamag-anak lahat ng Buencamino na artista at musikero
This is probably what an aged Chopin would sound like
If Philippines are heaven, then Godowsky’s spirit rests in heaven.
In some parts it sounds like the first movement from the firsr Tchaikovsky piano concerto
It exactly sounds a bit like Tchaikovsky but still Buencamino...
