@@GpMarvelRivals the tricky part is, the heavier pack nowadays is the dud one. Why? Because when Pokemon wanted to add more weight to the green code card to balance it with the white-green code card (good packs that contain good cards) they did a bit too much and the pack with green code cards became heavier. And probably Pokemon changed things up again since Fusion Strike has different code card. Still messed up, tho.

This was a really informational video, on top of a great new way to go through a box! Did you sync up your card pulling by listening to music as you did it, or do some light timing adjustments in editing afterward?
I have been meaning to message you about this. I have a little bit more info on this. I've opened 6 booster boxes. 5 from a lgs and 1 from a pre-order. The 5 I opened from the lgs were all weighable and predictable, but the one on pre-order that was delayed wasn't weighable. So it makes me believe that when they switched the factory that use to focus on premium boxes to help out with mass producing bolster boxes that they aren't following the same algorithm that they are suppose to. So the distributor thst got their boxes first, which factory did it come from? And the one that was delayed because the distributor didn't get theirs in on time, which factory did thst come from? My theory is it's the factory that it was made in. I went 5/6 boxes weighable 100% 22.22-22.58 but my 6th box was 22.22-22.36 on all packs.
I noticed almost immediately when I opened my first FS pack... The white code card is almost as thin as paper, and bends just from touching it. The black cards however are much more premium.
EPIC! I PICKED THE PACK WITH THE FULL ART TRAINER All of my Picks were Hits I might be lucky, everytime I go out and choose individual packs I always get a hit ( and I don't weigh them ) But when I opened a pikachu and Zekrom and a Reshiram and Charizard Premium Set ( 20 total packs ) I got nothing besides 3 V'S LOL ) I guess a V is a hit but A VMAX is What I usually get
1st pack I went for the middle right and "hit" but would have loved to get some of the basic adorabubble ones like Morepeko from the packs to the left of it. 2nd pack I chose the lower left most and still got a "hit" but the pack to the right corner of it had more adorable cards again 🤣 3rd pack I went with the position as my first pick (middle right) & had no "hits" nor any cute ones Was so fun to play along and see all the cards available! & definitely good info to spread around
The solution seems to be have 6 or more different variable weight code cards put in at random. This will make weighting possible but very few packs could be guaranteed heavy or light. This would also prevent the annoying problem of knowing you got a hit based on color.
Multiple weighted codes cards placed randomly should fix this up 👍🏻 I bought evo skies loose packs and they were searched by a small cut on the bottom face of the pack that when a light was shined through you could see either a green or white code card. It was actually featured in one of my first videos.
That's why I've just decided to buy singles from now on. With pull rates going down since chilling reign and now the whole weighed packs ordeal it just makes sense to buy the cards I want instead of gambling. Might buy sealed products just as a display piece
