I've rebuilt ecodrive movements years ago and they are still going today. Just keep 'em charged and there'll be no problem with them at all. The extra bit? It's an extension strap to lengthen the existing strap when worn over bulky diving suits. That's a nice bit of retro 80's kit there. Time to blow some more cash!
That new release from citizen is so tempting if you like dive watches. I have seen and handled the watch in the review and it is feather light in weight. I have a small wrist and I was surprised how well it sat on it considering how big the watch is. I like it but I have quite a lot of watches already and I don't think the wife would be able to take it if I came home with another one!.
If you look for a reliable and comfortable tool watch at a very faire price this is it. I picked it up one year ago. Every day one or two hours in a swimming pool or in the sea. I recommand 100%.
If you draw the outline of a TORTOISE you will see that the head resembles the crown and the legs resembles the rounded protrusions in each four corners and the shell will be the bezel and round indices on the dial. Explaining why this CITIZEN has the pseudonym TORTOISE. Nice review and am so happy for you having acquired such an eccentric icon. I honestly prefer this CITIZEN Model over the SEIKO SOLAR TUNA with plastic shroud. You earned my subscription and I liked 👍 your channel. Best regards, Your friend Malik.
The extra strap is for diving with a wet/dry suit, with some equipment you wrist could end really bulky and you need the extra strap to fit your watch safety.
Precioso. En España hace tiempo que lo he visto. Ahora estoy pasando un problema de salud grave. Si salgo de esta es un regalo que me voy a hacer seguro.
@@nomadicedge9788 but your version is better than the blue and green dial versions with the much darker bezels. But I have seen a new version with the lume dial, I love that one. But it is only in the Asian market. The black dial version is not officially in the US market. Not on Citizen’s US website
Hey man sweet watch! Just for reference what size wrist do you have? I have a 6.5 inch wrist and am just worried that this might be a little bit too big for me
@Tony Alvarez What’s even more incredible is that people take time to criticise free content, which is actually good and useful. The camera work is very good, the length is spot on and I gathered all the information I wanted from an unboxing video, plus a wrist shot at the end. So calm down and get off your high horse!
FYI, the extra strap is a dive extension. Nice looking watch.

Thanks for the input! Makes sense!

Couldn’t agree more! Thanks for watching 👊
Getting my watch tomorrow. Cant wait a unique 80s diver from citizen.
Enjoy! It rocks 😎👊🔥
Haha, I like your duel with the box lol. Cool watch indeed.
The extra strap is a dive extension to make the Watch fit over your wet suit

Another commenter said the same. Thanks for the info!

Excellent review and looking forward to getting this watch , extra strap dive extension
Sick indeed but really cool looking and unusual !
For sure!
Looks like a great watch! Thanks for the unboxing👍
Thank you! Appreciate the comment
that extra strap is an extension so you can wear over a wetsuit or full wrist dive gloves.
I like it, but I would love it if the case/bezel were not coated, but just sandblasted titanium or steel
You might have a point!! I think that would be 🔥🔥
@@nomadicedge9788 the coating makes it look a bit like a G Shock. Especially the blue camo dial version
@@stefpix agreed boss

Mines the same if not a tad smaller and I think it looks killer! Thanks for watching 🔥🔥
the original 1982 model wasn' t automatic but Quarz. Nice review Sir 🙋
Thanks for the info!
What is the extra strap for?😉😂
If I don’t know by now….. I never will!
Most people figure out that it's a diver's extension for the strap to go over a wet suit sleeve.
oh.. casio md703..
the extra strap is a dive extension!!!!
Yep! As many others have informed me lol.
Be nice you savages.... Lol great watch TY
Sorry everyone has already said that 😃, subscribed
No worries and thank you! 👊👊
So you make the unboxing video without researching the product first!?!? Utterly ridiculous! 😂
why do people review dive watch without knowing what the extra strap is for? they should stick to rolex :D
Extention strap for wetsuits !!!
Looks awesome, kinda ugly and cool at the same time. I have a Seiko Tuna so I guess that odd designs speaks to me.
Totally agree. I am the same and have the Darth Tuna which I love! Thanks for watching!
The shape and look of the watch case instantly reminds me of a watch that Fred Flintsone would wear in the Flintsones cartoons from the 1960s!.
that's a strap extension dummy ..
I bet you make friends quickly 😉
Another guy that puts up a review of a watch and doesn't know things about the watch.
Just incredible.
It’s called and unboxing and you don’t have to watch. I do this for free 😉
@@nomadicedge9788
Doesn't matter its for free, you don't even know enough about the watch!
@@tonyalvarez5815 ok pal, go enjoy trolling someone else. I have things to do today.

Now let me get back on my horse. Lol
