  • Hi everyone!
I might do a series where I focus on the most problematic DBD maps in terms of accessibility. Coldwind has been on my mind for a very long time, due to the fact that it USED to have lighting that was much better. And now with Shattered Square changed to it's amazing and drastic new lighting, I'm holding onto one final hope that MAYBE we'll get to visit the farm at night once more.
This is a continuation of my video where I talk about Colorblindness and DBD as a whole in a previous video.
    Check that video out here:

Thank you all so much for taking time out of your day to watch my video. Feel free to subscribe or follow my Twitch:

And if you do agree that Coldwind needs a lighting update or revert to Night, please share the video around and like the video.

Glad myself along with Finn could provide gameplay footage of old coldwind and screenshots, we had fun goofing around on coldwind doing this and I sincerely hope coldwing gets the lighting reverted to what it once was, there is simply something so pleasing about how old coldwind looked, especially playing it.

I am red green colorblind and I use my graphics cards colorblind modes for dbd. Basically just change the reds to purple and I can finally see the scratch marks better. Whenever the red scratch marks go into the tall grass or green ground, it makes it very hard to see them. Honestly if they had a system to change what colors the scratch mark and killer light appears as, I feel like that would solve my problems

that would be nice, though it bet some people would complain that's a way to win or something.
I'm very sensitive to screen lights and have epilepsy, and i have a mixture of super low brightnes and low contrast on my monitor plus some redshade filters to help me see in dbd without having to burn my eyes turning the monitor back to standard just for dbd. migraines or worse (focal episodes) aren't nice, yet people always mock those filters as some way of cheating, when i'm sure me and many are here just trying to adapt things in a way that's absolutely fair (no unfair info, no actual cheating, nothing) to their visual or auditory necessities.
I know nothing about colourblindness, so this video was very informative in how they showed a bit what it would look like, and i wish they had a better, more perzonalised, colour blind mode directly in game.

When I learned that dbd mobile has spirit phasing indicator(and so many accesibility features) I stopped believing that bhvr cares. I dont think it is that difficult to implement some of these things since they already have all the ui stuff in the game.

I hate coldwind so much for colors on it. Thank god, comp players make some reshades,so i can play on it for 3-5 matches, but damn. But i think Toba is leader.

i like that they tried something different in toba landing, but color-wise that map can be so confusing
