Ahhhh Gwangjang market !! I miss it so much ! I went with friends and we all ate there. They stopped after one meal, like normal people.... But I kept eating from stall to stall, as they were juste waiting for me xD we also finished with that amazing heotteok. Thanks for bringing back those delicious memories haha
Raw egg yolk and raw meat.. how in the world can someone actually eat that combo together. It just blows my mind and makes me pause for a century cause like, I just can't wrap my head around like, how is that even tasty in any way? Respect for being able to eat raw meat and that is not enough so, add egg yolk to it..oh my gosh, just..damn! Raw egg yolk has such a nasty yucky smell I can never eat that raw, damn! I'm just tryna understand but I can't

Actually I think kkwabaegi resembles the Chinese 'mahua' (麻花) more than youtiao. Interesting, I did not know it was brought over by Chinese immigrants. I thought the 2 developed independently from each other

Sorry but I have a visceral reaction to raw meat and eggs. Raw stuff in general. The only raw stuff i can just about stomach is smoked salmon and that's not even proper raw.... makes me gag when eggs are runny.
